System specs: Core2Duo6420, 965P-DS3P, 8800GTX, 4GB memory, Raid 0 2x250GB, OS: Windows Vista Business 64. Forceware 163.15 driver
Well managed to play game in DX9 on Windows XP Pro, but it was a hit & miss affair, needed the 158.45 driver I think and then game wouldn't start because I had to many video codecs installed can you believe it, removed a few codecs and all was Ok.
But as for DX10 version under Vista Business 64 no luck so far. I've exhausted all my options and like I've heard here so many times the game won't even start (Crashes at Start). My system is fairly typical I have tried various forceware drivers all with the same error. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the game from DVD and then waited 24 hours for the update to install through steam.
I have also updated all my DX9 & DX10 runtime drivers. Below is the error I'm getting in Windows Vista Business 64 Bit
