The game throws east error to me when initiating in DX9:
"the exception unknow software exception (0xc000000d) in the location 0x00a4721f". To have if somebody can help me.

To my also demo works, but the game of no way. I hope that somebody helps to solve it us. I have looked for in hundreds of forums and I have not found any solution.
It seems that there is not much people with this problem but those that we are we want a solution.
Help please.

The last driver of my card is the 158,24, that also I have proven and it does not work. What happens is that with as much change of drivers I have remained with this. I assure to you that the 158,24 I have proven it and it does not work to me, if not outside that not to request aid. To have if between all we found a solution, that this already tires and much.

Sorry but I downloaded three times the LP using steam and reinstaled vista ultimate 32 bits two times, i did every suggestion you have made and still can't play it my rig
AM2 4200+
1 8800 gtx
2 corsair dominator ddr2 800
As you can see I shouldm't have any problems playing LP but this is incredible I can't play it I'v used every nvidia driver you suggested and updated my dx10.
I want my money back

158.45 is the driveryou should be using for Vista (not 158.24)

Okay, here's something to try.
It looks like you have a widescreen setup. Set your desktop out of widescreen, and set it to 1024x768, then start the game.
I know, it's annoying. Please, just try it.
Does it work then, or does it still crash?
