I don't think theres anything wrong with it, its just the complain weapon of the week if you ask me.

One of the people complaining about it here wants Special Guard II or VS Master 2 to nullify the ejection ability of the energy gun and energy disc, which is ludicrous IMO.

haha this thread just turned into: quick! Complain about every weapon just because I'm a noob! I mean if you wanna talk overpowered then give the nuke 20 ammo....even though the VS dies after 1 shot.
back to staying on topic: I think Fire and energy guns should stay the same, except maybe if you jump in the water then your flames go away...wait that doesn't work because what if your already underwater when theyre shooting you? aw nm just keep them the same

I recently played AI battles, and having everything unlocked, the eemy had Incendiary grenades. Unless I was already pretty damaged, they were hard pressed to ever kill me with them. I rolled until the flames went out, and survived. I had Defense 1 on, but I'm pretty certain I didin't need it to survive as I had more of a quarter of my health at times. How any other grenades can you say you survive taking damage from? Fire is not as uber as this thread lets on. Maybe coupled with a flamethrower's damage, but 4 rolls is -easy as hell- to pull off meaning that next to plasma or something it's the most survivable grenade I know of. I might be mistaken, but I doubt it. I surived incendiary grenades. That's all I gotta say.

Funny thing: I was in the exact scenario as you a few hours ago. I was playing on Friction, and a bot hit me with an incendiary, I fly down into a hole and survived with a quarter of health. I killed 3 more people before I died.

Heh, you're lucky they were using incends, all of my bots like using Atomic Bombs in a can or some might call them Buster Grenades...I feel like im in Mission Impossible running away from all those explosions setting off at one time (I'm still using Super Star)
