This is kind of off topic, but in regards to the flame weapons and all that, I think Ranked should be default weapons only. Too many people are using rediculously OP weapons like Incindiary Grenades, Flame Throwers, Plasma Cannon and Plasma Cannon SP. That stuff is just way too crazy for ranked matches, especially since you don't have the abilities to counteract a lot of the weapons. Plus, it's more balanced if you know that everyone will be using the defualt weapons. That way if you see someone go for rockets, they don't suddenly pull out a plasma cannon.

make ranked even more boring, no thanks.  ranked needs some more flavor as it is.

More like make ranked better. If I wanted craziness, I'd play Player Match. What's the point of having 2 different types if they were exactly the same. Ranked is competetive, Player is casual.

On Topic, I think water should extinguish the fire for sure. Fire weapons underwater shouldn't work as well as they do on land.

Hm, if your lucky and your playing in descreation(i think, never liked that map) in multiplayer, jump/walk/roll/sprint in the water and the flames will vanish.

This is sort of OFF TOPIC, but okay. It's the fact that people are getting credits, leveling up by doing episode 5-3. I mean, a month from now. NO ONE would have Machine Gun's anymore, everyone would be having energy guns, gun swords at this RATE!. This is considered "POWER LEVELING", I don't want to see 5 charged up energy gun shots and you trying to perfect the timing to roll it in time. Utter rubbish, no way you can outroll. Capcom needs to do a detector, like you can only do it once a day. At this rate, everybody will be having hardcore weapons(I myself, has got everything unlocked but NOT by doing 5-3!) and no one will be unqiue in there ways.

I have also found significant increases of people having buster grenades and incendiary from the fast credit farming. Fast crediting needs to be stopped NOW. I mean you don't get that sort of pride of yourself leveling up rounders to level 70 getting the gun sword sp spending 5+ hours, only to find out that someone can probably get it 2 hours.

lol here comes the reality: I have all that crap from playing random whatever. Campaign, faction, what have you. It doesn't matter if noobs power-level because at best they'll just catch up with the people who played hard early on. I don't see a point to it, it's silly to get rid of all your weapon unlocks in a hurry and then go back to playing the game without any new gear to look forward to.

It's not like the unlocked stuff is a necessity. Energy weapons are nice for multiplayer, and better grenades are fun, but the basics work pretty handily. Grenade I blows people up just fine.

Ive gotten Six kills on Cube with one nade in less than 15 seconds of starting the match.

Why because Fire nades pretty much are death sentences.

On cube(flat version elimination) you can run directly from spawn  to the mid sections throw a nade hit everyone activating the post and since the fire does like half health after the grenade does damage.

Everyone I play with already has that crap and most of 'em roll with Machinegun I or GunSword because they're better weapons for most purposes. Learn to grapple into some cover when a bunch of energy gun shots come knocking.

Why are you so worried about it? The Energy Gun is such an easy weapon to avoid. Especially in LP2 (since it has a max range). Honestly, I'm more likely to worry about Machine Gun I. Good range, good damage, stunlock, ammo is abundant, and it can detonate grenades easily.

Energy Gun is a bigger pain for a VS User since nothing can counter it. Not Special Guard II, not even VS Mastery II. :\

To be fair, you can usually deal out a lot more damage with a VS, plus as long as you got the T-ENG it can be repaired to keep protecting your own health.
