That might be because the bullets spread out more on MGII then MGI, or at least they do Weapon Customization room. I don't know if its stronger but because it fires faster the speed may be compensating for that considerably, seeing as it has no stun and all.

My MegaMan preference for MVC3 would had been Starforce, but yeah sure, I'll jump on this bandwagon, if X does indeed get in as DLC, there better be gamers playing as him or else this would had been a waste of time and missed opportunity for another Capcom Character...

MG2 has some minor stun but yes MG1 is easiler to use. (for me)

MGII is useless. It spits out ammo so fast that it doesn't even come close to hitting a moving/rolling target. I'll stick with MG or MG SP in the full game.

Agree with you, I prefer MGI since it has the stun effect, there's no point on shooting more bullets with MGII if you are stunned and can not start fire.
However I would rather preffer the stun effect to be reduced

Completely disagree. MG2 destroys MG1 in an up close battle. It's harder to use over range but I don't usually fire my MG across the map and the recoil is manageable.

Agreed, just because you haven't use it enough to master the weapon does not mean it sucks. Its faster rate of fire is a strength and a weakness, just as you could easily say MGI's slower rate is a strength and a weakness.

pretty much this, the MG1 feels like it has more kickback. the MG2 feels like it has to re-load more often but is stronger. im quite comfterbal with using the MG2.

You aren't lyin man. Up close the MG2 beats the MG1 easily. So i guess on that cube map, MG2 is the way to go.

Machine Gun I - Has a more concentrated rate of fire, better for long range
Machine Gun II - Fires faster with less concentration, runs out of ammo faster, I think does more damage, I think has less range
That's the best I can explain it, anyone feel free to correct me and/or add to it.
I think MG2 has longer reload time, it left me at a disadvantage in a match.

For me the Mgun 1 has a more well rounded abilities long, close, and mid. But Mgun 2 ROF is unquestionably fast and adds a advantage in close range but lacks long range. Mid range depends on the user.
