Alright, enough about 360 vs PS3, what I want to know is, WILL COLONIES SHIP IN A REGULAR BOX OR THOSE SILVER "PLATINUM" ONES? :p No really, I need to know.
So anyways.. back to the ps3...:p

well it appears since colonies isn't coming on on ps3 and because the ps3 extreme condition was such a bad port ill just have to move on. i know capcom hasn't made an announcement yet but i doubt its coming. and i don't want any of this bullcrap with them releasing it a year after it comes out as a crappy port. i want it the same as the release of the others.
Yeah screw it.. I love LP a lot but this is just the last straw with a long line of them being biast against sony. Im not buying anymore of their games, not even the new SFs.. :(

i am mad that it isn't coming on on ps3 but i probualy would have gotten it for pc anyway. but then you have to pay for live and thats just stupid. its a $30 game but if you don't have a live account thats another $50 right there and then more every year. and i usualy play games over a long period of time in short periods.

thats how i feel. i have spent a ton of money on LP and its one of the best games ever but im sick of this. crappy port and then not even release it for ps3. and then in return 360 fans get DMC4. wow isn't that just perfect. and maybe capcom will eventually release colonies on ps3. but even so it will probably end up just like extreme condition did. i just don't understand what capcom is doing anymore.

Prob not, either way, Im not renewing my XBL membership for essentially LP 1.5.
Honestly with all the other games coming out around that time frame (GTA4, MGS4 / MGS Online to name a couple).. how much is 4 new maps and some new weapons gonna hold my attention for?.. I was really hoping for a new game.
If it did come out on the ps3.. of course I would have spent $30 on it.. (even tho I just spent $40 on an inferior ver of it.. Thanks Capcom).. but at least I wouldnt have to pay to play online.

Well obviously, if you want the full Lost Planet experiance...then get it on the 360...not the PS3.
If not, then stop complaining.
The 360 earned the sequel...which also made Xbox tons of money from subscriptions just for Lost Planet!
Until the PS3 version goes Platinum, you can't talk.

Yeah I hear ya. But unfortunately live will never be free. Also hopefully PS3 network stays free.

Sales of ps3 increasing drastically every month, and the big hits are still on the way. Home coming out and Free, Free online play already that has had almost flawless stable connections with every game Ive played online, exclusive that sold me the system when I was first looking between them wondering which to go to, and then all the problems Ive read with the xbox.. [13%+ failure rate is unheard of in the history of consoles, and thats just the tip of the 360 iceberg's problems]...
Oh, lets not forget the Developer limits for Live content, while PSN has 0 limit and can put whole games [ala warhawk] on there if they wish it.
Yeah, why do I want an Xbox? To give M$ more money so they can waste it on the 360 some more to keep it contending?
[And wow.. I estimate at least 5-10 billion put into the 360 already, and last I read M$'s networth was only around 15-20 billion? Not sure on exact number but wow, thats a lot of money put into a system they cant get to stay stable]
