I'm trying to get the nom for the flame grenades and flamethrower, what i don't understand is how i've gone through 50 matches using nothing but the flame grenades and i still have yet to get the Master nom.

I give up with flame based weapons, I have yet to play a game where someone wasn't complaining: A) That the weapon produces lag B) Overpowered / Kills far too quickly / Has too much length C) Not powerful enough / Not worth the trouble using If you're getting that close to the enemy, you're kinda setting yourself up for that kind up punishment. It's just one of those weapons you're going to like the results, yet hate to be on the receiving end (Rockets, Snipers, etc). Other then being more observant in the weaponry your opponent is wielding and the more then obvious "don't get hit and fire back", Goufunaki pretty much summed up everything you could possibly do. Oh and with the proper chemicals and such, you can burn fire underwater, so assume that Lost Planet's fire is not all pure flames, not to mention Game Physics is a flawed topic once you try to put it down logically. And those "silly" Balloon Grenades imo are great for campers and those trying to nab a data post. Acid Rain keeps them stunned and eventually kills fast enough they don't know what hits them.
Support NEVEC in MVC3!Click Here![Currently Playing: BFBC2, LP2, MHTri] The Rebellion Army owns you now... My MegaMan preference for MVC3 would had been Starforce, but yeah sure, I'll jump on this bandwagon, if X does indeed get in as DLC, there better be gamers playing as him or else this would had been a waste of time and missed opportunity for another Capcom Character...

incindiaries and flamethrowers are now overpowered. I've gotten a 7 kill streak in friction from people at full health and only one survived the flames by rolling. The only thing i can say is use them yourself while they are still overpowered =\

I love how you're still complaining even when people are trying to be helpful.
If you can't roll fast enough, or roll while a regen grenade is set off, then you're just going to die and have to learn how to avoid fires in the future. Simple as that.
Please enlighten me. Quote exactly what you seem to have misconstrued as me "complaining".

The problem is when the match begins with Short Range Weapons unless you have the Revolver you need to get close to hit an enemy with the shotgun or try to find a better weapon laying around on the map 1st. I for one don't know all the layouts yet and never know who will be using a flamethrower or not until after the fact.
I don't know the layouts, either... but I at least know that the shotgun has more range than the flamethrower. You may not score an instant kill, but you can kill the firebug with a shotgun before they get to you (unless you're using Shotgun SP).

i noticed how fire can kill instantly while on multiplayer. Just because of that, i switched my buster grenade to incidenary grenades. Yeah, if you're on, fire, best to go guns full auto while blazin, and kamikaze urself.

I agree both sides, and both sides should get their way. Fire stays strong. BUT. Fire should be put out instantly by Water or 2 Rolls.
