I like this idea of yours. Having a high pressure water cannon/pistol/sprayer/thrower/balloon (depends on which weapon class you want it in) would be like extra LP2 awesomeness for the already existing LP2 awesomeness. And when people get hit by the water, they fly backwards (you know, that's what high pressure does) and start slipping if the wanna move (wet + floor = slapstick comedy fall) or they could be stickied like the web shooting akrid does with you. Then they would first have to burn down the web before they can move again.

Hahaha I love it! Slipping would be awesome! I was thinking about a sticky weapon where you would have to use the left joystick to get unstuck. That'd be pretty sweet too.

Special thanks to TriCEVEN for the sig.

I love how you're still complaining even when people are trying to be helpful. Tongue out

If you can't roll fast enough, or roll while a regen grenade is set off, then you're just going to die and have to learn how to avoid fires in the future. Simple as that.

Remember kids, fires are best avoided by carrying a fire extinguisher around at all times. You never know when it will strike.

This has been public service announcement.

It's just as easy to do as it is to say. Well, the AVOID FIRES part. Once you know there's someone with a flamethrower, why are you that close anymore? Stop trying to riflebutt or gunsword people and you'll probably go through the round without gaining another pair of hotpants.

Play smart, people. You live longer.

It's not just flamethrowers, it's Incendiary grenades that light people on fire too. Staying away from close range attacks such as the flamethrower is doable but dodging grenades doesn't always work out. Either you didn't see the grenade coming, you rolled too early/late, someone shoots the grenade unexpectedly and so on.

I die everytime i'm on fire now. I think there was one time i survived it but my health was so low i could have died from just sneezing lol.

I haven't noticed a problem with the grenades. Only time I die when caught on fire from those is when my health was already too low.

Do you even remember the invulnerability of the roll?

Use it before the grenade goes off.

It's saved me multiple times.

Yeah, I'm officially done with Lost Planet 2.

So, don't expect me to be posting here, ever.

I gotta say... each of those should be perfectly acceptable reasons to die.

- If someone caught you unaware, that should be to their advantage.
- If you rolled too early or late, that's your fault.
- If someone shoots the grenade and you get caught by it, that's due to their own tactics.

Now, if you said "I'm tired of dying by my own incendiaries, because my teammates keep shooting them/blowing them up in my face" then... yeah. I hate that, too. Anywho. Incendiaries don't do a lot of damage with the blast alone. Most of the damage comes from the fire, if you choose not to roll (or are already low on health). I suppose the only tips I can give are "time you rolls" (but you already knew that) and "keep Injection II around." The heal on that is so helpful in those situations.

I die even when i have full health and i would only be on my 3rd roll. I've only died 2-3 times from fire after the pach so i'm not going to make big deal out about it but i do think it needs to be toned down.
