So, as I discussed with Snow, I noticed that all the soldiers are in fact wearing harmonizers. I am assuming since Snow told me this, I am allowed to share it.
The harmonizers have a new mechanic to them, they aren't as powerful as they were in the first game, since they are only built off from the original, not copied. Also, the way the T-ENG works is that it powers the VS's and the suits the soldiers wear. They have piping in the suits, if you didn't notice, and that's where the T-ENG flows through. The T-ENG isn't just for cold, but it also cools the users suit when the temperature becomes hotter. A side note, from some of the guys I was talking to, this game features 100% more tenticle rape. ^^^^ Not a serious answer, just so you know ;)

i'm not quite sure what to make of that statment, in the original LP you were tied to your harmonizer and T-ENG to such a degree within the campaign that capcom actually based a scale of difficulty upon the amount of time your suit would run out of it, which i thought was a horrible way of basing game difficulty and is the #1 reason i never finished the campaign. i'm really hoping that there not going to take this same course within the campaign of LP2, fighting over T-Eng with your co-op team probably isnt the best way to go. Within the multiplayer (original LP) i dont remember T-eng in the soliders suit playing much of a roll other then when it ran out you couldnt use some weapons, and it was used to "fuel" VS's. maybe its been to long since ive played but has T-Eng always been based on a hit-point system? meaning once you ran out of it you fell over dead (in multiplayer)?

Remember that the thermal energy was the power source for everything in LP 1. The harmonizer even tied itself to Wayne's body, making it imperative that he have a constant supply of T-ENG or start to suffer from immense pain, memory loss, and even death. That's what made him a super soldier.

Hey Snow, will Wayne be in LP2 also? I was reading "Lost Planet 2 Finally Announced", and I saw the name Wayne Holden. It says," As far as the story you'll notice that with the co-op Wayne Holden is no longer the main character." Is he the same wayne from the first LP?! I really hope it is because the end of LP left me with a lot of questions.

Wayne Holden was the name of the main character in LP1. He is no longer the main character of LP2, as you'll notice from the trailer.
We're not really going to talk about the story or if any of the questions surrounding Wayne will be answered. It's a bit too early for that. We just announced the game. It's real, it looks amazing, and has lots of new things to bring to the table. There's plenty to be excited about, but as far as an in depth look at the story, it's just way too soon to start that discussion.

Well, the trailer was released like what, 2 weeks ago? Can you maybe tell us when we will get more information? Weeks, months?
