Yeah, they paid big money for E.D.N. III's residents to now use "Thermos Energy" instead...

I wonder what those backpacks are with the four pods sticking out of them are. Maybe mobile data posts, so they always have radar around them? Or perhaps a flying mechanism? This just popped in my head, too. Maybe it's different canisters that can be switched so an energy weapon can have different kinds of shots? This is fun!
i didnt catch that through the trailer, im going to watch it again to see what your talking about. you happen to remember the min/sec so i can take a closer look? actually a hero carrying a mobile data post is a fantastic idea and could be a great cooperative game mode, or perhaps a twist on data post capture mode.

Hello,
Along that line, it would be an interesting feature to be able to give T-ENG canisters to teammates in need, useful for allowing everyone to jump in a mech for a quick getaway or to have the teammate keep using energy based equipment (ex. energy gun) if you don’t happen to have a need for it. I can see how this would allow for more strategy and resource sharing in the game. Nothing like walking around with an energy gun with 0 energy, hoping to come across a discard so you can swap out while your teammate with 5K energy has no way to share.

Just saw the trailer, games gonna be totally killer. did i just see 4 people on a VS? damn!, graphics look allot better than first, co-op for single player is gonna make it allot better. I'm expecting the multiplayer to be completely off the hook.

Did anyone notice... At the end of the trailer, were the huge Akrid comes out of the water, you can see a guy shooting at the akrid from below and next to him (under the water) there is some kind of vehicle. What does it look like to you?

hahah, yeah, i did... Yeah, it looks like one that the pilot was ejected from... Maybe that Akrid has an electromagnetic pulse type shockwave it can send out and eject people form VS's. Like at the end when a blue shockwave comes out of him. I don't know if that's because he's been killed or what.
