Lost Planet 3 formation started few months after LP2 premiere. So i guess it`s about time to start talking about Lost Planet 4. Any news about it ?

Chances are that given LP3 results, between low sales and a broken multiplayer, that the IP will be put to sleep for a while.

That`s exactly the same what people have been saying after LP2 premiere and cold welcome...

Well, for starters, while LP2 ended up shipping 1.5 million copies (Capcom's platinum titles page figures say 1.8 million, probably including digital copies), LP3 didn't manage to sell its initial shipment of just 300,000 copies, with Capcom originally hoping to sell as many as 1.2 million copies by the end of the current fiscal year (ending on March 31st):
m.joystiq.com/2013/11/01/lost-planet-3-s... www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-05-09-ca... Still, given the precedents of DMC and Remember Me, which also flopped (at least initially in the case of DMC), the game may end up for free on PS Plus, where it will have a second chance to prove itself. Let's just hope that Capcom actually uses some of the money they will receive from Sony to fix the multiplayer.

As always there is many different sources giving different numbers. No point in arguing about it. Everobody who played LP3 probably noticed that 300 000 copies is even too much considering this game quality. If you look back and see how good was LP series doing earlier it should be obvious where to go. I doubt they will abandon LP franchise. I hope there will be somebody at CAPCOM who will bring it where it belongs - on the top.

As much as I really want one, I highly doubt it, considering how poorly LP3 Sold( Shame considering that game was pretty good IMO). Plus Lost planet is sadly one of those games with a Cult following, So I doubt there will be another.

I have just finished LP3 and I love it. I liked the story, the story telling, the characters....the fact that T-eng is now the currency out there at EDN III,and so on and on (this is not a review :) ) Yes you can say it has similarities with other sci-fi games, but this is only because you are sci fi fan... :) Plase Capcom do LP4 or if you want reboot it with whole new set of series.
