90 degree turns were useless. But I am upset about the removal of a toggle Zoom. However, hopefully crouch will now be toggle.

No, they weren't, I can't tell you how many times they helped me when someone got behind me. Only an idiot would call them useless.

The turn buttons could just be replaced by an option for high sensitivity.

Or it could exist, but there could be extra functions for start + triggers.

But then we would only have 4 emotes.

Hmm. Will emotes return?

HiPol,

I dont expect every one to read the post that im sure you had something to do with deleting. I hoped to catch the eye of a developer or someone who works for Capcom. I have played lost planet sice the first demo came out and i know what  players want simply because I am a player and because, here is the key SPARK, I asked them. Changing LP so drastically is a mistake. Left trigger zoom is a mistake. Changing the button sceme at all is a mistake. I will be sending the complete game that I composed, with the help and input of over 100 other LP players, and I dont think that SPARK will get a second look for LP4 especially after failing so miserably on this chance they were given. SPARK you still have a chance you havent released the game yet. I beg you talk to somebody who is actually good at the game and get some insight before you blindly start making changes to an already almost perfect game.

No, that would not be as effective. I only play on 6 sensitivity in the first lost planet, because I don't feel comfortable with 8. and pressing 2 buttons would still be faster than just turning quickly. And if they did make a sensitivity that fast it would be incredibly difficult to control. And the original LP only had 4 emotes so they might take it back to how they did it in the first game.

Asking SPARK is a good idea, that`s what i`m going to do on this forum soon. But believe me - nobody`s going to read that much informations you posted. Make it much, much shorter, then maybe it will be usefull. Don`t make scenario for a game, just put most important (for you) general advices. Thats my advice for you.

I`m also a player, i also play it almost as long as you do but it doesn`t give me right to make decisions instead of game authors like Kenji Oguro. We are JUST the gamers, don`t forget it. He clearly said that he always thought about LP in the way it will be shown now. He just coludn`t do it earlier due hardware/software limitations.

LP1/LPC was perfect. LP2 absolutelly was not. Players opinion, sales numbers and dead lobbies speaks for itself.

English isn`t my native language, so i won`t bet about, but i`m almost sure i`ve heard in interview with devs (CU home page) that there will be alternative option for old players to switch for old buttons configuration. Please correct me if i`m wrong or stop complaining about it. Oh, and i must agree that turn buttons are essential in this game when using joypad.

Open world idea in campaign sounds very good too me, i hope they`ll make multiplayer identical like it used to be in LPC, cause that`s the most important part of the game that keeps it alive for years, so making scenario for a campaign looks weird for me... focus on multiplayer better.

Do you work for spark? If you do then why havent you been asking for player input the whole time. I made that campaign scenario long before LP3 was announced. It is massive just like every other aspect of the the game that I composed to include multiplayer, quite possibly the most massive game ever written. You Stated that we are JUST PLAYERS, JUST PLAYERS?!? without us PLAYERS Capcom has nothing. Players make up the majority of the success for Capcom and having said that I believe that the players have every right to have a say in the games we play. Lost Planet 2 failed because of SIMPLE details that were overlooked, that can be easily fixed, which I addressed in my Composition. Once again what i wrote is a collaboration of LP Players input, it was more of a guidline for things that the players want. Capcom and Spark would both be wise to look at the composition and take from it the voices of the plaers that support them. I love Lost Planet and I would hate to see it changed in a way that will make it at all similar to any other game as its uniqueness is what made it as big as it is.

You should probably try posting it on sparks website too, if they have a forum that is.

Do you honestly think spark are gonna look Here?

If you want to write games in detail then join a company's design team.
In fact, spark are even looking for one.

Also, im pretty sure HiPol dosent work for spark, because if he did LP3 would be a LP:EC clone.

If that is the case than i would hope that HiPol did work for spark because then they would at least make a decent game. i will look into that job opening strictly for the well being of LP. and if anyone cares about LP and they know any contacts list them so they can be barraged with helpful info on LP.

I wouldn't mind if they stuck extremely close to the first game, but with a few changes. I liked the addition of sprint and the variety of weapons(with the exception of the rifle SP). A few of the maps were cool and I never use vs's online so all the new ones in the second game didn't affect me. But yeah I would like a game that's just a mix of the good things in the 2 games. So I kind of agree with hipol i guess.
