C`mon guys .... Lost Planet charm isn`t only about zoom button. Personally i use zoom all the time when shooting with machine gun, it makes aiming more accurate (i play mouse/keyboard and can set it in better position than D-pad). They are trying to open Lost Planet for people who didn`t like it before. These people were complaining about buttons - so they are trying to make it more friendly, thats all. I only hope they won`t go too far in changing things. @ DrDid - i know what you`re feeling mate. That`s exactly what i felt after playing LP2. "Just give me some DLC Maps for Colonies !!!!" Capcom is not listetnig to us (you`re one of these who knows it best). You can only watch and in 2013 play it or not.

I think they are trying to dumb the game down. I hope they don't stray away from the main gameplay mechanics of the series. I personally detest first-person combat. Also, the main character Jim, isn't original at all. Why didn't they just let us create our own character?

Well, with the news that this studio are developing LP3 coupled with the mostly disappointing LP2 at least I won't have any expectations. Maybe it will surprise me.

Good idea but poor execution. Considering execution is all theyre doing this time, I dont have high hopes.
Lost planet does need a reboot however, and this should stay true to the original games for the fans, whilst exploring a new aspect, to lure in players and gain lost planet the renown and recognition it deserves.

While I agree that Turning Point was a horrible game, I have to agree with Adam --both on Blue Castle's past experience and Dead Rising: 2 (Case West, Case Zero, and Off The Record) being awesome games. I have faith in the selection process and that they will have a strong presence during development. I have high hopes for this game.

You know when you are watching something on TV in the middle of the night, then you see a commercial for a technical college focusing on video game development, and the commercials are always so badly put together? Spark is comprised of people who went to those colleges. Yeah.
