It doesnt have to just be achievements though, Capcom could add a Nom de Guerre just for that map pack, or even add a new skin if peoples (team/individually) win a online (ranked) match on that map by doing a certain series of emotes.
This game has so many things that make it unique, Capcom needs to take advantage of this unique quality and use it to elevate the series.
Thats actually areally good idea. I would love to have a Nom that says "master of the cube" or something like that for winning like 100 times at the cube. And skins or character parts would be even cooler.

Yeah in one thread I commented on that. It should probably be coming with the ability to unlock a skin for coming in first a few times on the maps. It doesn't have to be trophies, but decent in game unlocks for playing the maps would be nice. I suggested a skin for each additional map. Something that would technically be a pirate that plays on that map. Granted that would be a good deal of additional work, but it would certainly make the money much more worth it when the maps are so unlikely to play. Currently the price is now too much to pay for maps that aren't accessible enough. Still to ammend the one skin per map thing, a nom for some maps, and skins for others would be nice. Maybe they could do gun color variants also. Though gun color changes is probably a stretch for what people really want.

Just how bad the Map problem is really? I played Player Matches for the first time yesterday, I managed to play both DLC Maps, twice.

My MegaMan preference for MVC3 would had been Starforce, but yeah sure, I'll jump on this bandwagon, if X does indeed get in as DLC, there better be gamers playing as him or else this would had been a waste of time and missed opportunity for another Capcom Character...

Yea, and i don't copy and paste i gotta type the whole damn thing, getting tired of hearing it? I am tired of typing it, but until a mod or anyone from Capcom comes on here and atleast tells us they hear our complaints and are talking about fixing things, i am gonna keep posting things like this.
I am not one to give up easily. Hell, i still stick with some games that are LONG dead. And i want to play on, Back to the Island and Helix more!

What about trying again? You were probably just extremely lucky with the people you grouped up with. I've played the multiplayer a ton, and I've only seen one DLC map once, and that was in a 2vs2 match.
