The intense multiplayer mayhem of Lost Planet 2 is getting even more explosive with two more maps coming next week. Map Pack #2 hits both PlayStation Store and Xbox LIVE on Wednesday June 2nd, featuring Dockyard Battle and Frozen Wasteland maps. Dockyard Battle drops 16-player multiplayer matches into the factory of the overland battleship from Episode 4 of the game’s campaign mode, while Frozen Wasteland brings back the snowy trenches and imposing tower of one of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition’s most popular maps. With a total of fourteen maps available for Lost Planet 2 owners, there is a map for every style of play. Map Pack #2 will be available for €4.99/£3.99 or 400 Microsoft points.

well unless they fix the lobbies im not getting them because someone that does not have the map is always in the game and you do not get to play the dlc. it just reverts to great out doors.

This. You may possibly never play it in Ranked or Player matches with random people.

I agree that lobbies need to be fixed, but I'll be picking it up. Island is soooo good the one time I played it.

Daaaamn, Capcom getting it in early . Lol, I'd have to agree w/ robot, not so sure I'm gonna pick this up day one for that reason. But I'm gonna get most definitely, probably just not day one.

It this keeps up we're gonna be paying for just two maps for each pack: A map that is technically already in the game and a map from the old game. Lemme guess, next map pack is gonna be the the Sand Village in the West Desert and maybe Battleground? Um Capcom....really? I don't mind bringing back old maps but don't make it seem like I'm paying you for one new map(that I already seen through campaign) and something from years ago. I have the first map pack from pre ordering and I still haven't been able to play one game on either of them. If anything they should have seen the whole "everybody doesn't have it" scenario coming and made playlist settings like Gears2. BTW: I'll still get it eventually but not day one, especially with people cheating like crazy now and making ranked matches feel like UGH!

If map numbers are to go by there's at least one more DLC map pack incoming. And well, as mentioned, unless they fix how the game handles DLC maps, there's no chance in heck I'll buy this. It's pointless to buy something you can't play. The pricing isn't that great anyway.

How much in American currency? And I'll get it, not sure who I'm going to play though. :p And this still doesn't fill the void that Lost Technology left in my heart.

If anything, people should just wait for Lost Planet 2: X expansion. Capcom is known to do that. I don't see them doing anything different with all the problems LP2 has right now.
