They listen to posters on this forum, and look at where the game has gotten us. They tried to give us too many options and in essence, created a imbalance with the weapons and grenades. The maps aren't great, with not enough weapons to share amongst players. It just makes maps more imbalanced, coupled that with how players play with the imbalance of the game (shuriken with head start disc, is one I will name that is overused and imbalanced).

I'm asking, please tell me which weapons/grenades are imbalanced and how?

Map Pack 2 DLC? I'm not paying 5 dollars for it alone. I have more pressing concerns I'd rather pay for like female parts. Yes, I'd rather have more female heads, and outfits, and dare I say costumes like Chun-li, and Cammy (the heads are almost made considering the default crpetbagger femme head having the ox horns, and the braids, and a chunk of their outfits being nearly made as is.) than maps, or much anything else really since I, and my friend feel especially burned over the fact that the Femme Fatales got so little, and blasted near nothing compared to the guys.

I am still UBER grateful that I even have the option to be a femme fatale in a genre of gaming that's virtually devoid of women as playable persons, mind you, and that in itself was a gigantic selling point.

Still, lets be honest with ourselves here, I'd honestly expect DLC with female parts to be free unless they far and away exceede the parts males get, or it comes with something else worth paying for ontop of it. This isn't a notion of "Women are better, they should get free stuff!" mind you, but rather the simple notion that we shouldn't have to pay for what we should've gotten to begin with!!! Honestly, it would be completely wrong to expect people to pay for 2 costumes, and maybe 2-5 other outfits considering that would STILL pale compared to the rich diversity of the male parts, nevermind the fact that they get voices (despite there being women voices in episode 2!) on top of that.

Honestly, I really hope that if the femmes get more parts and I really hope when they do so some people don't feel short changed, and that it's not just to squeeze money out of us but genuinely give us something worth paying for. The female gamers have gotten the short end of the stick for a while, in a lot of genres, especially shooters, so break the cycle, and be good to aspiring gamer girls, Capcom?

I have to agree with you on this; I'm not a female gamer, but I do see that the female character parts a bit lacking. There aren't that many and most of them aren't really cool looking or as spectacular as the male character parts.

I usually choose the female character for any game I play that has the option because they are usually the cooler looking character, but this game really does need more female character parts rather than just the lame shirts.

I vote for coolness. Wink

Seconded. I'm tired of having to use such a small array of outfit parts on my Femme faction, but I hardly have any other choice. I can't even use a helmet from a different faction, simply because it'll look like a bobble-head if I do.

At the very least, give us some outfit parts that will actually fit the base. While I'm on the subject, try to make a less amount of pants with the noticeable bulge in them. Yes, most of the characters are guys, but when you can attach the legs to a female top, it just looks wrong. Same goes for the skinny legs on the Vagabundo B top.

What? I love the female character parts. That said, I want MORE!

If anything, people should just wait for Lost Planet 2: X expansion. Capcom is known to do that. I don't see them doing anything different with all the problems LP2 has right now.

Unless you have no problem starting from scratch with your stats, I'd not hold my breath on that.

I yet to play the map pack we already have.  I have always like how Halo 3 (god, I hate complimenting Halo) and Uncharted 2 have dealt with Map packs. They made seperate playlists for them. Wow, what a concept!

I don't know I am pretty frustrated with the Lost Planet series lately.  I LOVE Lost Planet, but I am not happy with how 'behind the times' Capcom seems to be with their online component. Face it they only made marginal progress in that department with LP2. I do like how the Ranking lobbies works - but its still not enough when it comes to the social "playing with your friends" dynamic.

I just played some Red Dead Redemption last night and its brilliant how all your friends can create a posse or gang and take on the real people together. Or I can pop in Uncharted 2 and play with up to 4 other buddies and kick some butt (and have our butts kicked Laughing) for hours on end.  At least were together!! lol

So, I love ya Lost Planet 2, the Co-Op is a blast no doubt, but the rest of your online component really struggles when it comes to the social dynamic of online gaming. I fear that if Capcom doesn't listen to it's hardcore players and makes some changes you are going to see people like me riding off into the sunset with their posse. Cool

I rather have a more polished game than stats. It's not like the stats in this game matter since it compliments boosters.

I actually want to see Snow's bit on this issue.

Though, it'd probably be something along the lines of "Playlist Filter. Smile".

Yeah I'd also like to agree with the majority here as well. I wouldn't want to pay $5 just for a rehashed level and a level that I can already fully explore in campaign and can't even play online anyway. That's a triple wammy there. Tongue out

I'd pay $5 though if it was just 1 completely new map though...even if I couldn't play it online I'd still like to explore it.
