As a NYorker, this is true. I still have not touched online due to A) Don't have the confidence just yet B)Don't have all the weapons yet and C) Don't want to play alone. I do have the Map Packs though, but if what you all say is true, I'm a bit wary of getting the packs myself. I do want to support the series though...

The Rebellion Army owns you now...
My MegaMan preference for MVC3 would had been Starforce, but yeah sure, I'll jump on this bandwagon, if X does indeed get in as DLC, there better be gamers playing as him or else this would had been a waste of time and missed opportunity for another Capcom Character...

you guys should realize that if nobody buys these, capcom may get the hint that some changes need to be made.

I was considering that...

As we all know, Capcom listen to us here at Unity; so I think if we all decided against paying for the DLC, it might get them thinking / reconsidering.

If we buy the DLC, who is to know they don't continue releasing more content without fixing it first?

They listen to posters on this forum, and look at where the game has gotten us. They tried to give us too many options and in essence, created a imbalance with the weapons and grenades. The maps aren't great, with not enough weapons to share amongst players. It just makes maps more imbalanced, coupled that with how players play with the imbalance of the game (shuriken with head start disc, is one I will name that is overused and imbalanced).

Whether or not they listen to us, we have no reason to buy the map pack. Even if people wanted to play on the map... they simply don't have that option. At the very least if we don't buy them, maybe they'll realize the current system does not work.

On the other side, maybe if many people do buy the map packs they'll be smart enough to start mass complaining to Capcom about the maps not being accessible.

I really do hope Capcom is aware of the problem. It's pretty ridiculous to release DLC which isn't playable.

Why are they trying to cover up all the problems with Map Packs and T-Shirts? Pull yourself together Capcom and give us some updates!

I'm asking, please tell me which weapons/grenades are imbalanced and how?

Umm,well I've been on and I only played Helix 3 times without a smart ass joining the game and ruining the fun.For crying out load!!!If I didn't know that CAPCOM didn't make private set lists for the people who bought the packs they would have lost some money from a true LP fan.I only got the maps from gamestop but I'm glad I didn't buy them and lose 6 dollars into this ruckus.Sorry to say this but CAPCOM you need to step up your game cause your loosing money because you didn't fix the problem but instead released new problems. Also I blame the 360 for having the worst game disk memory.Heck, the PS3 blu-ray disk wasn't halfway full and CAPCOM could have made this a PS3 exclusive so they could pump more stuff in!!!!!!

I dont get it when people make statements like this, every weapons takes a certain technique to fight with it, or fight against it. what more are you wanting?
