What speakers do you have? Did they come in a package with the receiver? How is the bass module connected (does it have its own amplifier inside it, or is it powered by the receiver)?

the speakers auctualy came with the surround sound system. the bass has it's own power supply. the dolby logic circuits are in the bass enclosure, all my speakers connect to the sub. it does say 1000 Watts RMS but in the manual it also says that optimal output will 1000 Watss RMS total. i beleive that the sub gets 500 and the rest get between 50 and 75 Watts RMS per speaker. it was the bass that anoyed the nieghbor but then he came over the next weekend and watch me play the game and i am pretty sure that he is gonna buy a 360 in a few weeks

As for Third Eye's question, I use the Microsoft VGA cables, picked it off eBay for $10. I'm not sure what resolution 720p is but in my console display settings I have it at 1360x768. I've also tried it with a newer flat panel LCD but the crispness and vibrancy of the CRT image couldn't be matched though brightness is sometimes an issue (some games are a bit too dark like Bullet Witch).

WHAT DID YOU SAY?! DMC3 was awesome. I agree that the first is great and is a timeless classic now, but geez. DMC3 is a lot more frentic and crazy. I feel stripped when I play the first one now. You can't do half the things you can in DMC3. I'm psyched about the 4th one. I don't care that you don't get to play as Dante. Nero look and seems cool. And who revs a sword? lol that's so awesome.

But anyway, yeah, PS3 just needs to lose MGS4, FFXIII and Kingdom Hearts 3 and I'll have no reason to look into a PS3.

I found plenty of times where I could try out my moves. It was called the Bloody Tower or something. I can't remember. It was like a survival mode. I had the original DMC3 and got the Special Edition later when it came out mainly for that and Vergil.

And Nightmare is a ****'n ***** on Dante Must Die Mode. I had to max out my items to kill him. I was at Mundes and couldn't be him on DMD mode. My PS2 memory card got wiped out at the time because of the stupid Playstation Underground Holiday 2005 demo disc they sent me in the mail. All was fine until I loaded up the Viewtiful Joe 2 demo. Apparently, everyone who did that had their PS2 memory card reformatted. I was so upset because of all the time I spent building those save and they were just gone.

And what's up with that? You're not talking about that Earth Defense Force 2017 game or w/e are ya? Geez. Are you made of money or what? That or you just budget well. Seems like everytime a game comes around you can get it. Like Viva Pinata, you played the demo and said you might have to get it. I see you on two days later playing it. lol. Getting Guitar Hero 2 is gonna kill me. I'm gonna try to get it off redoctane.com's site so I can get free shipping, no tax and a free guitar bag with it.

Anyone on here have a Wii?.. if so, how is the online play?

haha.. dope. yea i decided against it. not enough games worth playing coming out for it.. or even anounced.

id rather shell out a couple hundred more and pick up a PS3.. at least id have a Bluray player for less then a stand alone unit. plus I just bought a white psp on ebay :D
