So you got 500 more posts than me, big whoop, you wanna fight about it?
Just kidding. But man that must feel awesome being mentioned like that. Kinda hits me when I read that first link and it talks about you be a 21 year old designer and that other stuff. It makes me think, "Man, he's accomplished quite a bit already. I'll be 23 near the end of May and I haven't done jack." :p
That's pretty much my own fault but hopefully I'll find a way to turn that around.
Anyway, how are they choosing who goes to this CAPTIVATE08 thing, anyway? I saw that Lost sent me (and others, I'm assuming) a message asking if I'd like to go, if I'm over 18 or something, among other things. I replied and left it at that. It would be a pretty cool experience, especially considering that it's Capcom-related. What would be even greater is if we got some Capcom-related swag from the event, too. But just getting to see the games would be good enough. Are they games we don't know about or that and other games we know? *crosses fingers* MegaMan Legends 3! Don't care if it's multi-platform! Just no required install please! :D
Oh, think maybe they'd have a playable build of Resident Evil 5? That'd be awesome. Though I might have withdrawels after that and have to go back to RE4. :)

Now we get to chill, Lucent. Chris is probably going to bring a cattle prod to keep us in line, so be wary.

lol a cattle prod? Does it say Capcom on it?
But, yay, GTAIV multiplayer was working for me last night. So much fun with all those modes. One on one can be seriously unfair for some I guess because I played against just one guy for quite a few matches for the hell of it, and I kept setting myself up with weapons and stuff before going for the kill instead of just running to him with my default handgun and knife. It was hilarious when I chased him down with a car and he was running on foot, cutting corners and narrowly escaping the front end of my car. I owned him so much. He was obviously very new or just unskilled. He tried to run his car into mine sometimes but I'd stick my arm out and shoot him through the window of his own car.
I also did a Cops 'n Crooks mode, which was funny when I was a cop because I eventually left the car we started in and grabbed a motorcycle.
Yeah, it's lots of fun. Best moment was probably when I ran into the museum and thought I'd see what happens when you fire a rocket at the set of dinosaur bones hung in the air. The head fell off and came crashing down on me. I lived, though. But this is definantly a great multiplayer experience and I can only imagine how intense it is when there's 16 players going at it in the city. If only more people would get the picture on the PS3 that they need mics to get full enjoyment of multiplayer.
Quite a ramble, but I'm just really impressed with everything they fit into GTAIV.

!!! Museum of Natural History is in this game?!!! And I hope Museum Mile on the other side of Central Park is too, my high school was near there :p
I think I may just return my PS3 amazon order and just keep the preorder license plate bonus. Sorry Lucent, I thought about it, but getting the same game on another console might not be worth it after all since, first, you're the only one active on my list (and just barely :p ), and second, no entitlements so no real exclusive Sony (ie Home) content. Make new PS3 friends that talk ;)
