I'm trying to finish up a few games before DMC4 is released. I want to get the rest of the achievements in Dead Rising, Assassin's Creed and the Brass Balls one in Bioshock before then.
I need to prepare mentally, for S ranking (or SS rank, if it's like DMC3)"Nero/Dante Must Die" mode.

I just looked up the DMC4 special edition, is the extra disc really going to be another one of those cheap-o PC discs that came with Lost Planet? :mad: I want gamerpics and themes, not PC avatars I can get for free online.

So, yeah, no themes or gamerpics for your system. But I think the Making of Devil May Cry 4 is cool. I just hope it's well-thought out and has a decent length. 20 minutes would be nice. lol. And Devil May Cry's soundtrack has always been nice. Dante's Lock'n'Load them was always great in DMC. And Shootie H.G. brought some great music to DMC3 and it sounds like he and others brought more to DMC4. The digital artbook is pretty cool as I'm sure it'll show concept art and everything.
Yeah, the PC content is kinda lame in comparison to having been giving gamerpics and themes, but the rest of the disc is awesome.
BTW, if you reserve ANY version of DMC4 at Gamestop, you get a free Art Booklet. It doesn't have to be the collector's edition, you still get it if you reserve. So I already put down a reservation at Gamestop for the PS3 collector's edition. :cool:
And no, I'm not trying to say Gamestop is awesome. They just tend to give you a better incentive to reserve at their store (or online).

I wonder what LP will be like using a Frag FX controller?... im still waiting on a wireless version for the PS3. Anyways the 360 is taking a backseat next time i go home.. im taking the ps3 with me on my next work period.

Yeah, Fab, I think the PS3 is gonna become more and more awesome. I already like that basically all the games are region-free so I can import a game if it never comes here or I'm just eager to play it.
I'm pretty sure GameStop does still sell the 60GB PS3s new. So I'm probably gonna get in on that. Help me out with some HDMI-DVI cables. lol.

The only part that sucks for me is I have to spend another $90.00. 60 on the Dual Shock 3, and 20 on a headset, plus at least 10 on shipping. I really need to get those before LP PS3 comes out too.

And I had fun playing with the japanese on LP last night. The rocket match on Trial Point was awesome. The way some of them work together is nice. I've seen one throw a grenade while another shot it with a rocket only to blow the crap out of me. Well done. lol. I guess I should be used to it as I think if anybody gets LP on the PS3, it'll be all the japanese that didn't want to get a 360.

That's about it for now. But I've played and loved all the Metal Gear Solid games, so I can't miss this one. Some of the Final Fantasy games haven't really been as great as the older ones, but I believe they may get it back. I already own Ninja Gaiden Black on the Xbox but I'd like a shinier version with dual-swords. LittleBigPlanet looks like a very fresh and innovative title. Lost of simple fun. And if you haven't played Disgaea yet, it's one of the best tactical strategy games you can get next to Final Fantasy Tactics. Also, Kingdom Hearts is a surprisingly great series.
Blu-Ray is winning. I'm not big on buying movies, but it'd be nice to have the current format and be able to play them.
Home looks like it's just gonna be a virtual chat room with your own avatar and house. A potential time-waster. Why not?
Anyway, I'm not jumping on the Sony band-wagon and telling Microsoft to go to hell. I just want a new japanese system. And I like choices and options. It's always nice to have more than one system so if you hear about a game and you want it, you can get it cuz you have the system for it. Also, if a game is multiplatform and you want it on a certain system, you can choose. Like I feel I should get Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3 because I've played them all on PS2 and it's familiar and I'm already used to the feel.

You forgot Everyday Shooter. It's not bad. ;)
I liked Disgaea, but then they went insane and started down the dark path of character piggyback chains. And I tried Home at my friend's. It's not out yet probably because load times between these chat rooms are 15s+. It's pretty absurd considering how small these venues are.
What about Folklore? I thought it was pretty fun and it seems PS3 is missing a lot of those Japanese-heavy style of games which they seemed to have been inundated with last generation. I'm holding off on playing anymore of it till my monitor gets in but I'm a sucker for card-game mechanics (Culdcept > DMC4 on launch :p ). Even though the PS3 I have is borrowed, I'm going buckwild on eBay picking up some recent PS2 games I haven't had a chance to play since my PS2 passed away: Odin Sphere, Valkyrie Profile 2 (wasn't there a PS3 game with Valkyrie in the title, a pseudo turn-based war game? looked interesting), GrimGrimoire, Persona 3 (!! $70+ since it is an Atlus game), Rogue Galaxy, and I think maybe few more after I get those.
BTW, the Godfather isn't bad. It's pretty fun if you like repetitive chores, which I do.
