Why is it such a secret?

Because it may change before it gets final approval. If we released the details early, then have to change it... well, let's just say some people don't like changes once they read about something...

I could handle a change if neccesary... I would feel better knowing what you are trying to acoomplish...

Honestly, only the hardcore LP fans hang out on this forum and you should hear the bogus rumors that people talk about in the lobbies...   it would be nice to set them straigt.  even if it did change.

I am not interested in anything other than network stuff.... anything else it not important to me...  you could even PM the details to me and let me leak them as a rumor that way Capcom is off the hook if it does change :D

Is this guy paid just to spend the whole day in these forums to act officially and n00bishly? Instead of telling us crap, how about you tell us that patches and other assorted downloads be made available for download on this website instead of through Steam.

$5 we get an "official" answer of complete negativity.

Game still dysfunctional? That's nice.

Lost Planet should go down in videogame history as the game with the worst online multiplayer "support." Game's been out for seven and a half months and the multiplayer completely broke after about two.

Despite Lost Planet being quite flawed in some aspects (at least in my opinion. Spare me your fanboyism, diehard fans), I enjoyed it immensely for quite a while. There's a lot of potential in this, in both its story mode and its multiplayer. I'd like to see a sequel for this game sometime in early '09, but not if we're going to have a repeat of what Capcom has shown us.

"Lost"]Just got word that the patch has passed Microsoft compliance testing. It is now in functionality testing. They did not give us an ETA on when that will be done, but optimistically, it should be "soonish". =D

Wow I don't care. Seriously, don't even try to tease these people with updates. If I were you, I would just not say a word about the patch until it was actually ready to be released. By giving people these "updates," you're really only reminding people of the ridiculous time they're waiting. How can I actually know how much progress has been made since the last update?

More like the diehard fans who would almost literally die hard to play a match of multiplayer one more time. Btw, so you know, I consider diehard a step above ha wrote:

I just wished I knew what this patch is supposed to do...

I can't imagine why they have to be so secretive about it...  i guess they are just blowing smoke.

Sidewinder, how about you just take a 10 day vacation for your continuous negative attitude and trowing barbs at our community folks. When you can act like an adult, you can come back.

We get it. You don't like the game or Capcom. What are you doing here?
