what i want to know is what this patch is gonna do? just fix the connectivity problems and thats it? or is there more? more content? more fixes?

What's being tested is all new network code. No additional content as a part of the update. It was planned for the end of July. It's taken longer than that. Apologies. As soon as there's new information to be had, I'll share it.

In the mean time, we've literally spent months and a load of money trying to create a better experience. With 3 maps packs (some of which are now free) and all new network code coming, if nothing else, I think anyone would have a difficult time saying that Capcom hasn't supported its community post-launch.

i am an xbox 360 user, and like everyone else i am upset that i cannot play lost planet  multiplayer.  when will that patch be available?

for the love of god, i used to like this game.  i can never get into matches because the "host has cancelled the mission"

The only thing I hope is that things don´t get worse, because as it is now it works fine for me. So they should take their time to get things right, I think.
But I had hoped for some little extra with the patch:D

Absolutely. I can play fine right now and i just hope they won't do anything to make it worse, but i do hope for at least a chatbox :)  voice chat would be even better
