im with you.. its just ridiculas now. I just dont understand why we havnt heard anything about it.. not even a "the patch is delayed but still on the way".. or "we've given up all hope on the 360, and we are now focusing on the PC ver".. (I know that no company would ever admit to that).. but up until now Capcom has been pretty good about this. I wonder what changed?

it is starting to feel like thay are giving up on the 360 version. while 360 owners are left in the dark, pc owners are bomb barded with content. even sven on his list of games his playing adds the pc version

I hear ya.

As a company it makes total sense. Spend company resources on whatever format will see the most gains in sales. With the 360 version already having been out longer than the PC version, and pretty much the majority of thier market being console owners.. now would be the time to try and gain more PC gamers, for future games.

..especially since they will be using the same engine as LP, for DMC4, and RE5.

but one thing is forsure.. if this is the route they wish to go... dont expect a huge lineup when Lost Planet 2 rolls around.... gamers might still have a bad taste in thier mouth leftover from the 1st game.

One might expect a company like Capcom to ignore it's customer base as soon as it decided there were more profitable avenues to pursue--it's what companies do, and it's despicable. However, I wonder how the employees who continuously post here and lie can look themselves in the mirror.
I understand the need for a job, but if you lie and cheat for the company you work for, you're no better than the dishonest company itself.

I bought LP the day it came out, and thought it was the best multi-player shooter ever until the patch in March destroyed it for many of us--sad, but there will be other, better games from more reliable, honest companies.

I'd just like a decent, HONEST response from the Capcom employees who promised us a patch in May, June, and July telling us, once and for all what they are doing about their broken piece of software. It would even help just to hear they no longer felt compelled to deal with the issue--at least then I'd know to stop checking.

As it is, it is unlikely I will ever buy another one of their products--and I will warn others not to as well.

Please Capcom techs, just be honest with us--you may like yourself better if you are.

You have a very good point. To tell you the truth, I got tired of waiting for this patch. That's one of the reasons why I don't play Lost Planet as much as I used to play. :(

this is beyond a joke it's all very well and good releasing free maps (although all the loyal fans have paid for them already) but all the new maps in the world  are no good if the basic game mechanic is broken. we xbox 360 owners have been promised a fix since the release of the game 6-7 months ago and still nothing, is it to much to ask. if all you guys sign in on this thread maybe capcom will take note and do somthing about it or at least give us a date for the patch
