So let me get this straight:

Instead of creating a new box labelled 'Platinum Edition' due to great sales on the XBox, we are screwing over our fanbase by adding a pile of new content? How exactly is that doing a disservice to our consumers, if we are adding all kinds of content to a version that 95% of the industry just ships out as is?

Actually, you are screwing over PS3 owners who bought the game just a few weeks ago when it came out. But that's about the only guys who you are screwing over.

I already stated it as did many others on the forum.
1) Unable to use previous saved data, including multiplayer ranks that many spent hours upon countless hours to achieve.
2) Require PC users to pay for an online service on a free online platform.
3) Do I even have to mention PS3 users being totally shafted?

1) Oh no! I don't have my ranks!!!!! I think I'll have to play more and get it again!
2) So PC should get exact same lobby and game as 360...but for free? No.
3) It's their fault they bought it on PS3 assuming a sequel was going to happen.

If you hate it so much...then stick to the first version...oh wait, there won't be anybody on it...hmm...maybe we're getting to something!

Did Lost Planet go Platinum on the PC or PS3? No!

Lost Planet got it's majority of popularity, and everything from the 360! So why do you think they are favoring the 360?

Because that's what started it!

You know why it didn't go platinum on the PS3 or PC? Because they were terrible (not to mention late and extremely late) ports and much better games have come out since then. Anyway, I think Dead Rising would have benefitted much more from a updated Re-release. Most people don't seem to have a problem with the core gameplay of DR(unlike most critics and quite a few gamers who have some serious problems with LP core gameplay). Fix a majority of the save issues and a lot of the frustrations would go away.

Er, Colonies isn't a sequel. You sound like you think it is, but it isn't. An updated re-release, akin to an expansion pack, that focuses on multiplayer. Just wanted you to know that. And the guy means that PS3 owners got shafted by purchasing a more expensive, less content packed version of the game, with framerate issues only a few weeks before this game gets announced (like the whole Iphone situation where all those early adopters got completely shafted a few weeks later). If that isn't totally screwing someone over, I don't know what is.

Yea, three new campaign modes are useless, right!?

It practically is a new game...

4 new maps, SIX new gametypes (how many did LP have...4!) 10 new weapons...(how many did LP have? Not that) 5 new characters!

They should charge $30.00 just for the pack...let alone include Lost Planet in it.

Sigh. I do not consider Time Attack a "new" campaign mode. Whee! I get to play through the same campaign with a timer! Completely "new"! New character models, weapons and maps, while running on the same engine, is equal to an expansion pack. If you've ever played a PC game, that is the definition of expansion pack material. I'm not saying that they are overcharging, I am just saying it is an expansion update.

As far as multiplayer goes, it is practically a new game...and that's obviously what they wanted to focus on - multiplayer.

There is absalutely no reason for game data to not be able to be reused, ESPECIALLY the multiplayer Ranks.

And theres absalutely no way I will EVER buy a 360, and if I got one for free, I would never pay for live. And theres many others on this forum who agree, and even a good bit who SOLD Their 360 as soon as LP was available for PS3.
