I dare say the majority arnt happy about it. Even if they arnt a ps3 user, a lot can still see how bad form this is. And then theres the whole screwover with the datasaves not compatable..
Also comp users needing a live pay account..
And you cant have your Online rank with it from the original?
.. -.- ~bites my tongue~

Wow.. 3 strikes capcom, can you screw your fans over any worse than that? Did M$ Buy you out..?

What? So how could it be possible to LEVEL UP and GET NEW CHARACTERS if you had old game saves? They would have practically NO ACHIEVEMENTS FOR TE GAME!

If comp users don't want to pay for a Live account, then they can gladly stay on LP:EC.

This is a chance to get above the fugitive players, they probably realized leaderboards were bad...plus they have SIX NEW GAMETYPES to take points accounted for...this is the way to go.

Jeez. May release? Why the hell didn't they delay LP on the PS3 to fix the framerate, textures, and other visual quirks and release a Lost Colonies Edition on the PS3 instead? Three months isn't that far away...

Lost, I have a question about the enviornment part...did you guys redo some of the maps/add graphical improvements to them? Like wind, and lighting and stuff like that?

Also, are there any other little changes being made? (Lobby, lag, stats-in-game)? Not that you have to say what they are, but is there stuff like that?

stop thinking about yourself lots of other people are mad about it. not matter what it hurts me because i don't get it on ps3, im not gonna pay for live on pc, and then less people on EC to play with. i have stood behind capcom with all their decisions so far with lost planet until this one. it just doesn't make any sense.

So let me get this straight:

Instead of creating a new box labelled 'Platinum Edition' due to great sales on the XBox, we are screwing over our fanbase by adding a pile of new content? How exactly is that doing a disservice to our consumers, if we are adding all kinds of content to a version that 95% of the industry just ships out as is?

Did Lost Planet go Platinum on the PC or PS3? No!

Lost Planet got it's majority of popularity, and everything from the 360! So why do you think they are favoring the 360?

Because that's what started it!
