i never have bought it for the ps3 yet. its just the fact that they made it for ps3 and it came out about when colonies was being all hyped up. so it appears its coming out and yet it doesn't. and anyway if i took the risk of buying it then tell that to all the 360 fans complaining about the maps becoming free and the chars that aren't on 360 but are on pc and ps3. they finally get those chars now and i complain about just getting the game. so don't get all over me for being mad that it isn't coming out for ps3.

Ok, don't turn this into a flame war guys. I know some of you are upset that no PS3 version planned/announced as of yet. Who knows what the future will bring though.

ya i just don't like it when people get mad that im just wanting the game yet they complain about getting just a few multiplayer skins. i really hope it does come out for ps3 tho. i doesn't appear like it will be i don't know why it wouldn't. hope an announcement comes soon. and also if it is on pc it will require live right? because its crossplatform. because if that is the case then thats a shame because i don't want to pay for live. especially just for one game that i will be playing on and off for a long period of time. :(

I think this is -really- lazy and incompetant programming on Capcom's part if they cant use the old save data. I dont care how much they say has changed, any other company would make sure the old data is still valid for people.

I feared this would happen. I already had a big discussion with hulot and Fab on how I feel about all this. I pretty much agree with everyone else who is upset. It really doesn't make sense at all to release a port (one I would be somewhat ashamed of) and then (and you can't say they couldn't forsee this happening, because who's gonna stop someone from posting magazine scans?) show some stuff about a MUCH better version of the same game being released on the 360/PC for $10 less. Makes no sense at all. You wanna spend $40 on the graphically/content inferior PS3 version or do you want the superior 360/PC version? All they did by doing this was tease the PS3 owners. "Oh, You like this? You like what you're playing? Would you like more? TOO BAD!"
My main reason for being upset, other than the reason of the PS3 tease, is that I went from being primarily 360 to primarily PS3 because M$ is a pain in the arse and I don't really wanna pay to play one or two games online even if it is a small sum for a year. I just want a choice.
And you can't give me that "Sony and Microsoft wouldn't play nice" Because obviously cross-platform gameplay has nothing to do with that as Final Fantasy XI has shown, seeing as how you can play with PS2, 360, and PC users. This is just the whole M$ 360 and games for windows crap wanting to make more money. PC users, as I understand, got to play LP for free like us PS3 users are now. So they're gonna ask us to pay just because M$ can't find a way around paying to play their games online. LIVE isn't that freak'n great. I don't want your digital media with the downloading of the videos and stuff on your lame 20GB HDD. The only advantage LIVE has (for now..that's right...HOME) is that you can use an in-game screen to see who's on and play music and stuff. Wow, that's worth $50 a year. I love me some ads all over my themes I paid for. Awesome.

well capcom has been pulling away from sony by making exclusives into multiplatforms and by giving the ps3 a crappy port of a year old game. i was never really into capcom until lost planet but from what i have seen there really isn't much encouragement to try other capcom games.
