it would be better to have an ai fill slot than what we got but it could work alot better if they set the game back to the defaults. thats why the game died the patches made the game boring and easy instead of hard and challenging  and the ai got slow i played for like an hhour today  i havent played since the day  patch 1.02 came out and you would get alot more supporters if they switched it back there would be no probs but as it is ai fill slot wont help even if they chhange stufff it will only break it more

i support prop 23 ai fill slot

ok here goes, wtf are you talking about yoou need to play gthhe ai again git is almost impossible to win because they never miss ever and they throw grenades like freaking spammers. on said line they are in vs's half gthe game and are pretty hard to takedown on your own i have owned tghhis game from day one and  you my friend are an idiot for saying thhe ai is to dumb to be stealthy there are at least two levels in chapter 4 where where if ygou walk into an open place continuous headshots even on easy hence your statement being just a means to try and be right but you are wrong.

Im just explaining my point of view, no need to express full on rage. I myself, also had this game since day 1


The AI are like easy pickings in a sense. They position themselves in the most obvious of places. They dont roll when they sense danger, they just stand thereuntil u empty ur clip. 


Come on, Ai are killing you on easy? you just lost me there. As long as you run a snake pattern, or throw in a few jumps here and there, AI snipers are never able to get a clear shot at your head.  True, the Ai do have auto aim, but their line of sight is restricted to about a 30 foot radius.


Ai in VS are not difficult to take out, even by urself. You just need the right weapon. 10 shots with a plasma gun, or a  1 rocket with "Vs takedown". Adapt and customize accordingly.

 i went back and played today  after i posted that and the complete sceme has changed on ai bots. and before the patches that broke the game horribly when it was hharder to kill vs's it would take  about ten shots in thhe orange spots  with a shotgun  but everything has changed so i retract all statements supporting changing anything else

Sorry, but I dont know what is challenging about getting chainkilled by VSs with super jumps and infinite sniper cannon ammo. The overall weapon balance was just crap. Patch 1 balanced the gameplay nearly perfectly.


And IMO the game was "dead" when it was released cauz its a game mainly for non-casual gamers, just like LP1.

I agree with that A.I. fill slot. I play multiplayer for a certain reason: fighting other players. Not some dump A.I. bots. I prefer a survival mode with an improved A.I. instead.


There is just no balance in having stupid A.I. bots, acting totally random in practically every game mode and situation. Imagine if 4 players play team elimination, 2 players each team and the red team wins because their bots killing everything in sight but the bots of team blue are just practicing targets doing nothing than staring at you.


 


Sorry, guys. No support from my side for this idea unless capcom fixes the movement "lock", removes the auto aim (especially in headshot situations), let them drive VSs etc. etc. etc. ... Improving the A.I. requires a lot of work. Capcom knows that. The bots are just some sparring enemies. There was a reason why Capcom didn't implement them in the actual multiplayer.

Also about the three times more health, I'm afraid that this would upset the balance of a lot of the weapons. It would take 6 body shots to kill with a rifle, 9 fully charged shots to kill with an Energy Gun and 3 shots with a Rifle SP. If abilties are turned off in a match and I can't use T-ENG Weapon Mastery II then how would I kill an AI with a T-ENG weapon if abilties are turned off? In order for AI Fill Slot to work then Capcom would have to completely redo the T-ENG Weapons and the weapons with low ammo (Rocket Launcher II and Rifle SP)

 wow i never got chhainkilled from any vs's i still dont  see how it wass inbalanced. truthhfully it was more balanced thhan it is now, most of thhe weapons strngths are o much and thhe weak ones are to weak. thhe games wasnt dead till thhe patches made it less competitive and more easy to exploit  having no skill. hence the word skill if you have it you have it if you dont you dont. this conversation is getting old people you cant say itss unbalanced  jusst cause you lose alot. if they were to swiitch thhe sgtrengthhs and weapons of dmc 4 or gow3  you would whine saying its imbalanced  this is an action adventure more than a shooter. ai fill slot will only work on the original settings.


 


the game is dead because all thhey did was release gay patches and crappy dlc  somehow ign went from 6.5 to 5.5 yep it lost sscore hmmmmm whats that mean

Alright It seems like alo of you are thinking of the AI's from Campaign. The AI's from AI Battle are actually somewhat different, the ones from campaign are bizzare and moronic (no offense mr.baykal and enemies) the ones from AI Battle (located in the training area) are different and those are the AI's we'll be using, please play AI Battle, then you guys will have a better Idea of what I am referring to.

Updated the Faq, also play AI Battle everyone, a match is only 10 minutes and thereis no half time so it truly is 10 mintues
