*Facepalm* Oh that reminds me, Raven said SP goes into Automatic Overheat now and the time it takes to fire another Plasma Cannon I shot it might as well go into overheat as well, you can double fire and go into overheat with it anymore, or at least no where near as fast.

thosse ai bots will use grenades just like everyone else and they are smart as hell at least when i was training the before the update it got even more crazy in ai battles than in regular  player/ranked matches with humans.  it would make it even if friendly fire was on with the ai bots to even out thhe slots in matches without 16 players

i support prop 23 ai fill slot

Let me just say this about the ai battle...


 


Like the training missions, same intelligence.


 


They have no tatical knoledge, and tend to stand around alot and react a tad slow.


 


Same as your ai partners in campaign.


 


That said, it's their AIM that makes them deadly, I can roll and I'd be shot full of holes as I am rolling, it's as if they got a lock on and won't let go...I need to take down these bots beofre they even see me!


 


I wonder how they ranked leaders got such good scores on these things...I can't shake them once they start firing!

ok they are not smart but i played before the patches and they were alot meaner in elimination i swear that everywhere i was thhey were grenade spamming everything and always moving. in the training missions

the things that  make them annoying is that they tend to gang up on the humans. and their aim is literally 100% perfect, rolling does nothing, which is why they would be great for Fill Slot.

 The AI tended to go for nearest target, and used weapons as best as they could.  I didn't see them use grenades too often though I do remember them throwing.


 Their aim is almost perfect, if you haven't shot and killed them first, you are wasted.  Weapon stunning doesn't even work, they just fire through and start stunning you.


 But if you are far away from them they stop triggering on you.  As well as if you can get into an unusual situation.  Things like being counted as the closest for an ai that has another ai in between you and it, and the second ai is considering the other ai as closer.  It sounds impossible, but it happens when you and the ai's are maneuvering.  What tends to happen is the AI gunning for the ai gets the kill, then doesn't correctly start targeting you and will almost just stand there.


 Also there is being the closest but being higher and having the shot blocked.  Standing on the cubes beside the spawns on arena tends to do it.  An ai will spawn in the room, and you'll be the closest, but it can't aim at you because the spawn cubicle blocks it's aim, so it just sort of stands around in there until you jump down.  It reacts slower and you almost get enough time to shoot if if you maneuver to a spot to shoot it.  Of course you could just throw a grenade in instead and it won't react.


 And finally sometimes, if no targets are close enough the ai just sort of freezes up and stops moving or shooting much.


 For you to realize it, the ai's in the ai battle, are just like the partner ai's in the story mode.  They can shoot good if they can get close to the target, and are hard chargers.  But if you don't have enough targets around they just stop and pick their nose.  It's why you won't really see an AI have any long range weapon and use it.
