Their aim is almost perfect, if you haven't shot and killed them first, you are wasted.  Weapon stunning doesn't even work, they just fire through and start stunning you.

But if you are far away from them they stop triggering on you.  As well as if you can get into an unusual situation.  Things like being counted as the closest for an ai that has another ai in between you and it, and the second ai is considering the other ai as closer.  It sounds impossible, but it happens when you and the ai's are maneuvering.  What tends to happen is the AI gunning for the ai gets the kill, then doesn't correctly start targeting you and will almost just stand there.

Also there is being the closest but being higher and having the shot blocked.  Standing on the cubes beside the spawns on arena tends to do it.  An ai will spawn in the room, and you'll be the closest, but it can't aim at you because the spawn cubicle blocks it's aim, so it just sort of stands around in there until you jump down.  It reacts slower and you almost get enough time to shoot if if you maneuver to a spot to shoot it.  Of course you could just throw a grenade in instead and it won't react.

And finally sometimes, if no targets are close enough the ai just sort of freezes up and stops moving or shooting much.

For you to realize it, the ai's in the ai battle, are just like the partner ai's in the story mode.  They can shoot good if they can get close to the target, and are hard chargers.  But if you don't have enough targets around they just stop and pick their nose.  It's why you won't really see an AI have any long range weapon and use it.

I posted this in a different thread but since were talking about AI's:

Alright so my goal for awhile has been trying to figure out how to get AI's more useful in multiplayer. You see even though it's already on the OP theres a few non-believers of Fill Slot, their main problem: Ai's are too easy to kill so the question is: how to make AI's more useful and here it is:

AI's should have the ability to sense gernades that are around them

In AI battle elimination it's easy to through a buster into a group of AI's and have them all die because they don't know that you threw a buster. normal people would stop fighting and roll away from the buster till they are gone. If AI's could sense gernades around them and immediatley roll away from them then they would be that much harder to kill.

When you are playing sniper and you shoot and miss they should realize theyre under attack

whenever you are sniper and miss what do people do? roll out of the way to saftey and try to figure out where it came from then head over to the area and eliminate the sniper. So AI's whould realize when theyre under attack then immediatly change positions and go off and eliminate the sniper.

They should be able to get in a VS lying around

AI's never grab a VS....ever, but people do and it makes it harder to kill them. so whether the game has a designated VS grabber that just goes around grabbing free VS's and killing other players or whatever they should be able to get inside.

not only will this come in handy in Fill Slot but help make AI battle a bit harder and allow other stages and modes in AI battle

just remove the #1 and 10 nom from the trophy/achievement and we all would be A LOT happier... although it did update our trophies and we have no idea what that was all about

I'm sorry for Justin for mentioning this. Do you share your Capcom account? You seem to write with formally using capitals and all that but then all of a sudden you don't and write everything else with no commas and capitals....Gets very annoying.

some stuff really do need to be changed though, your one of the only ones who don't want them to change their mistakes.
