I downloaded and installed the update but when i went to go play, it asked me to install Lost Planet 2 game data to my PS3. Is this something i need to do after each update?

Nevermind, it's working now. Smile

You guys wanted to know, well you got it:

Akrid Launcher, one tap of this weapon alone nets 30-40% DMG. (No Headshots?) Overall a better weapon, however you need to close in some distance between you and your opponent just like before.

Hand Gun - GET HEADSHOTS NOW, normal is 10%, but headshots are at least 30-40%. In Theory, 3 head shots will kill.

Energy Gun SP - Seems about the same, what bothers me is, basically 3 Charge shots should kill you, but you are left with at least 20% health, so 3 Charge + 2 Normal kills. (No Head Shots?) In Theory, if you manage to fire a normal each time your opponent is in Paralyze Animation, you shouldn't have a problem.

Raven's Perception: 9 Shot overheat while firing fast, SP seems more efficient in firing now (Somewhat). Tracking appears to be more sensitive.

TRisk Perception: It can knock you out of the air somehow, we haven't fully figured out how its capable of doing that, but it has at least 4 times for us.

Note: Stun is not a variable, its set when you net 50% DMG, they WILL stun

This is a tidbit, we are still in the process of investigating more stuff.

My MegaMan preference for MVC3 would had been Starforce, but yeah sure, I'll jump on this bandwagon, if X does indeed get in as DLC, there better be gamers playing as him or else this would had been a waste of time and missed opportunity for another Capcom Character...

Confirming that it was 18MB. Snow needs to post update details, and possibly a changelog for the weapon tweaks alone.

This is the last of it, if you have any requests, let one of us know and perhaps we can try this out again:

Machine Gun SP - Still the Same, 3 headshots and your dead, 6 body and you're dead.

TRisk Perception: It got even easier to handle the recoil?

Gun Sword - Body is 10%, headshot is 20-30%. Cannot roll between first and 2nd swing anymore. First swing alone can kill full health. Overall higher kill probability in my opinion.

TRisk's Perception: Dash distance is shorter, more then likely not true

Energy Gun - Less then EG SP on body shots for some reason but nothing major.  No Headshots? 3 Charge Shots is a kill,  2 Charge + 3 Normal gets the job done just as fast.

Gun Sword SP - EG Bullet DMG body shots, 5%? 15% to the head. Rolling of of the way leaves you with 60% left. 1st Swing can still kill though.

TRisk Perception - the Dash is much faster compared to GS I yet you can roll between swings, however this appears to be just my eyes playing tricks on me and Raven not pressing the direction she wanted to home in on.

Flamethrower - Distance is still the same, kills in 1.5 sec at least, 1.8 at most. If you see a Regen grenade thrown, flame away anyway, you will eventually beat the healing time at around 3 sec at most. HOWEVER The Residual Fire does not beat Regen Grenades, not by a longshot.

Shuriken Grenade - make sure you have hit a weak spot or else the drain Special Ability does not work, the base damage is 40% and another 40% in the drain.

Plasma Gun II - Note to all new players, Melee does not affect VS. Charge Shot still 1 hit kills humans, 55-60% on VS

Rocket Launcher - Splash Damage is at least 80-85%, Direct hit kills, no exceptions

Rocket Launcher II - Splash Damage is the same, Direct hit kills, no exceptions

TRisk Perception - Still as slow as molasses, best used as a didn't see it coming weapon as it it still easy to dodge if you do see it a mile away. Homes in just as good as before.

Rocket Launcher SP - Splash Damage is the same, Direct hit kills, no exceptions either

Raven's Perception:  Rockets do more or less equal damage to each other.

TRisk Perception: Still no crosshairs!

Plasma Cannon - Rate of fire decreased,  will go across map, weaker splash damage then Rocket Launchers (50%).  Prototype [Demo] Scope is still not around.

Plasma Cannon SP - Overheats on every shot, 320 T-ENG a shot, does not go across pirate fortress, Splash Damage

Raven Perception: Splash Range is abysmal, at least per shot, spread out it's wider. Using another Heavy Weapon would leave us half dead.

Hand Cannon - 1 round in a clip, fires just as fast, still better used on VS and use the SP to fight of humans, unless you like sticking someone in a crowd

Raven's Perception: If given the distance, it can knock you out of the air and not get hurt. It seems even if you get hit with the HC you can just jump and not get hit with the blast. It has some nasty splash but gives a lot of warning, too.

TRisk's Perception: Coming from Raven, she survived splash damage but it only gave 20-30% DMG, Glitch or theres a damage ratio, if one is at a certain distance, they get hurt more or hurt less then they normally would.

Yeah, we were testing in Heavy weapons default, and there wasn't anything being fired that wasn't heavy. Just before the match ended I was hit with the Hand Cannon, then leapt off the roof of the 1st story in pirate fortress.

The explosion hapaned while I was in the air, but All the damage I took was from the projectile hitting me. None from the blast cept maybe making me land awkward/air stumble.

The match ended with me with 80% health.

There wasn't anything being fired that could do so little damage cept the hand cannon.

I'm still insisting the Gun Sword's bullet damage seems to be increased by alot.

Balloon grenades seems to do much more of an impact. Leaks much more whatever(looks like slimy poo or akrid poo) it is. Much more useful in small maps such as cube.

It's acid. From the looks of it, it's probably a compound, containing both generic acid and whatever else comes out of the Akrid Launcher besides Trilid. Deadly stuff.

I'll have to look into using it some time today, since it's probably my least-used grenade besides Dummy Grenade II.

Great... more charge shot + grenade combo users.  Seriously special guard I or II should stop its knockback.
The problem wasn't the charge shot damage itself but the knockback... which lead to a grenade on your foot once you got up.
