(Off topic-you do complain alot-heck the need for gore in this game isn't needed at all, and i love my violence XD)
And okay Mr. 4-post, I wasn't COMPLAINING that there's no gore. I was expressing an opinion! These forums are getting dull with the same things being repeated over and over so I thought I'd bring up something completely random to talk about. I just thought it'd be cool, that's all. I figured other people might have some input, but yet my thread got locked right away. Ridiculous. I'd talk about football, but that's off-topic and would get locked right away as well. At least I was relating something to the game itself, who the hell cares what it's about? But whatever it is, it's not complaining. How the hell can I talk about anything in this game at all with any of you people without being attacked for it?

Well it is the first heavy weapon.
Like the first machine gun...would you compare it to that?
THAT is obsolute if you get machine gun 2 or anything else like the gun sword.
According to the guide, the first machine gun does more damage than machine gun II, but doesn't have as much of a stun capability. Plus it's so simple to get the machine gun SP and I use that to this day as my standard weapon. The first shotgun has more range than the other shotguns, the flamethrower, and the akrid launcher, plus it deals more damage than the revolver. The first rifle has a larger clip than the rifle SP and deals more damage than the plasma guns (despite a charged shot from PG II). I think it's pretty equal to the rifle II. The first heavy weapon has more range than the plasma cannons which really doesn't seem like that big of a deal because honestly, how often do you try to shoot someone from across the map with a heavy weapon unless you have the hand cannon or you know they're camping in one spot? That seems to be it's only benefit because overheating is really easy to avoid, as well as colleting thermal energy. Thermal energy is actually a faster ammo pick-up so you don't have to leave yourself vulnerable while bending down.

There is also no need to point out the fact I only made 4 post, you go to where I've been, you'd complain I post too much And I don't bother with the guides, except the unlock stuff, weapons I go by feel. (also you just attacked me for being new-I certainly hope the rest of this forum isn't so bad :( ) Sorry about the edit, had some really bad line spacing so I had to clear all that out. -Deaco

Of course we're not bad. Oh, and you forgot to capitalize a letter, you missed a period, and you should probably work on your sentence structure.

Sorry, I am one of the few who actually don't complain about other people's posts. And fyi, you attacked me first. I was just attempting to make your post invalid like you tried doing to mine. Doesn't feel good, does it? And I used the guide to prove a point. I can't say that the machine gun FEELS as though it does more damage than the machine gun II. That would discredit my entire post.

/shrug I use the MG over MGII, GS, or GS SP. If it is a large map, I will sometimes switch to the MG SP.

My standard weapon is an energy gun and when picking up ammo. (Thermal energy) all I have to do is go activate a data post or kill someone and take their thermal energy. I do agree that the Plasma Cannon and Plasma Cannon SP is overpowered. I think that maybe they should have a 3 second wait between every shot. So that its almost like the rocket launcher.

Not to sond trolly, or anything, but I'm still waiting for a logical, factual breakdown on the pros and cons of each heavy weapon to point out how they're imbalanced besides how you feel about it. I can't take "tone it down" seriously until I see how it' imbalanced besides people just saying it is. I need to know that the people calling for buffs/nerfs know the weapons well enough to be a sound judge of the bigger picture. I.E. If you buff or nerf this weapon, how does it affect the usefulness of every other weapon? And with that in mind, how does it affect the balance of the game?

I thought I saw a pros and cons weapon thread somewhere.....I never viewed so I do not know if it helps, Just to end the argument of how theyre unfair (which I do not think they are unfair) I'm going to play matches with each of them. I may have results in a couple of days
