This is just a small list of changes so far from what has been gathered so far, mainly weapons though. I will update this as soon as more changes are discovered. Feel free to post your discoveries to whatever changes you think Capcom has made.

The Flamethrower got a major buff in this one. The amount of damage it can deal and the drain of the flame effect has sped up along with the actual range of ignition.

The Rocket Pod, I dunno if you want to call it a buff or a nerf, but the shots don't spread quite as much now.

Plasma Cannon SP has a wider spread than before.

Rifle SP got an ammo buff; you can now start with 8 shots instead of the normal 5 before.

Pile Bunker now starts with 50 ammo on certain maps in online versus.

Osprays Gatling Cannons were changed (I think) to the heavy gatling cannons some VS's have.

VS's drain more thermal now than before.

The Injection Gun II's orange aura effect doesn't stop thermal drain operating VS's anymore.

You can run faster! (I think we all know this)

An arrow appears over objective data posts in campaign.

Rockets can no longer be shot down. (Multiplayer online only)

Armor breaking doesn't knock you away, but instead just staggers you a little bit.

MG SP got a damage buff (i think)

You can anchor while moving now

You definitely can't shoot rockets anymore. I lost like 25% HP in VS Annihilator trying to do it (I wanted to make sure I wasn't just missing).

It was already possible before the patch to move and anchor at the same time.

Shooting downed opponents is also possible now but killing them takes twice as long. (not sure but it felt like this anyway)

And what about the annoying infite ammo sniper cannon mounted on some of the VSs and turrets? I can remember that they were limited (15 shot) in LP1.

The single-fire VS cannons have ammo. Usually 100 when they show up in campaign. You can shoot down rockets in Campaign still... I've taken down rockets from ospreys in 5-2 and soldiers with rocket launchers same as ever.

I see, I'll change that then. It's still a pretty dumb move on Capcom though. Rockets aren't really a threat in campaign, online though...oooh boy did they mess that up. Uncounterable rockets are uncounterable. Rocket II will be quite deadly now...

Didn't someone mention you climb ladders faster too?

The Rebellion Army owns you now...
My MegaMan preference for MVC3 would had been Starforce, but yeah sure, I'll jump on this bandwagon, if X does indeed get in as DLC, there better be gamers playing as him or else this would had been a waste of time and missed opportunity for another Capcom Character...
