Recently I put up a three part blog talking about some of the brand new things we're revealing in Lost Planet 2. Read up on them right here: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. If you have more questions, ask away below. snow thanks for making such amazing game. creators of halo and resistance could learn i thing from u. big boss battles and coop, big weapons. wow. will blow halo and gears of war out of the water. i just have one question how long will the game be. hope its atleast 14 hours to beat
He's not the producer nor does he have any part in the actual production of the game. Snow is a LP superfan and I beilieve the game shall last more than a rounded 20 hours. At least for the first play.
Snow talks with them and provides input, i"m pretty sure hes got his hands in Lp2. >_>
Okay. Ah, so he gathers what the fan community wants and deliver the ideas to the team... but in all else, he didn't create the game.
"My young seeds once again, will look up to the sky, And I know they will grow strong..." "insert long post here when I have time to write it." "Stay Tuned."- Sven Call me the Capcomrade!

Snow is the Community Manager for the LP series. He works for Capcom and gets paid and everything, so technically he's part of the development. But like you said, all he is is the messenger between LP2 dev team and us. All the good questions have been asked, but there's still something I'd like to point out and ask. In the second mission on the PS3 demo there is a ladder you can climb (filled with goodies at the top too ), but you can only start climbing this ladder from the bottom. It'd be nice if you can anchor to the wall near the ladder and continue climbing it from there. Or say you're on the first platform in that mission, it'd be nice to be able to continue climbing it from there rather than drop to the bottom and start from there (though there is a way to anchor yourself between both platforms, but that might be a special situation). I know it's a picky thing, but the demo is so good. Hope that all made sense.

A question about Multiplayer Versus. BTHR Zero X said that when you enter a match, your class will be chosen for you. So if the Host chooses Heavy Weapons, you will play as your Heavy Weapons class. If the Host chooses Sniper, you will play as your sniper class etc. www.capcom-unity.com/lost_planet/go/thre... MY QUESTION IS: Can we enter a match where our class isn't chosen and we decide who we want to play as? So when the game begins I decide to be Close Quarters, then I die, and when I respawn I decide to play as a Sniper. Will this be an option or will we always have our class determined?

Here is an odd question. Do you think you could convince a few of the developers to let you sneak out a few more screenshots? I'm sure we would all get some great kicks from a little extra media. Perhaps a couple of developer's favorite outfits for their snow pirate. Maybe a great VS rush on a pirate or nevec/whoever base. You know screenshots that won't reveal a great ammount of things that are being kept under wraps, but some teasers.

This. We could use something to talk about.

Overall it's hard to judge the length of gameplay. It's really on your own style of play through. With all the customization possibilities and replay value, there's no specific number to pin it down to. But, if it helps you imagine, there's far more content in LP2 than there was in Lost Planet Colonies.

Zero's got his information wrong there... Not sure where he got it from, but we haven't talked about how your custom character (more specifically your custom weapons) fit into the online gameplay. Stay tuned.

It may sound like an easy thing, but taking screenshots has it's own process of approvals and such. That said, of course we'll be doing more. We want to show off our game as much as we can!

Don't mean to sound too harsh but that would be a really bad idea. The weapons in the game are not balanced enough (and not meant to be) for that. Everyone would take either rifle or rockets everytime because they're power weapons. It's not like cod where the weapons are all made to be more or less balanced.
