The halo system has none of those problems, it observes a persons bad behavior and asks the victim if he/she would like to kick the player out. Can't abuse a system like that.

Actually D-bags boot people in halo ALL the time. Also there is not necessarily friendly fire during matches, meaning implementing that system wouldn't work.

Well as long as a guy isn't constantly team killing me than I don't have any problem.

Just go for the left4dead system if he is grefing then your team will want him gone and *POOF* gone. The systems great because only your team can kick him so that the other doesnt just because he is on a hot streak or has great skills

True. I already talked about implementing that system except I forgot only teammates could vote.

I forgot that only one team could vote, that seems like it would work best.

Hello,
Isn’t an option to forget the whole kicking idea and just do a ban post match? Forget voting, it isn’t a democracy and is unfair to the host who created the match. It will weed out the bad apples quickly by severely shrinking the available pool of honest matches, or will just force them to host their own matches to cheat among themselves, either option is acceptable.
I’m actually slowly implementing this in LPEC, and it works 100% of the time regardless of how many gamertags the cheater tries to use. It is completely defensive in nature and has really increased the quality of the matches. The best part is it is completely useless to cheaters since they usually don’t host and want to enter matches to lag their way into first place. It is of course invaluable to hosts that want to play a clean match. It takes a little work but it is worth it, hopefully Capcom will implement a similar feature in LP2.

Post match won't work in situations where a different person is going to host. Many times hosts don't communicate at all. A majority vote before the match starts gets the person kicked out. It can be inititiated by anyone. This seems to be the most fair option. This could only be abused if it's a group of people playing together. And if that many people don't want to play with you, then so be it.

If you're booting someone before a match, how do you know if you should boot them? You won't know if they're a prick or not until the match starts. Unless you memorize the tag of EVERY jerk you meet.

Hello, Which is exactly why post game banning would work, not kicking pre or during matches. If you think a voting system will work you havent played LP too much. I wonder if you will be singing that tune once you experience the cheater bringing the rest of his friends to your match.
