I support the idea of this feature. It's very annoying in Fugitive matches when someone kills their team mates just so they can take down the Fugitive and get all the points for themselves. And for some people who are just so annoying, muting isn't enough. They shouldn't be allowed to play in some games. If someone keeps getting kicked from rooms, hopefully they'll learn to behave themselves.

And yeah, majority rule is the way to go. No one person should have that much power, except in private matches. But it shouldn't go the way of GTA4 where everyone has to vote to kick someone because there's always someone who doesn't have a mic and just doesn't get the hint.

I dislike the Idea of a Kick/Ban System in Ranked Matches. Player and Co-op Matches are fine with me. Think again, People that are playing the Demo ATM are totally new to Lost Planet. They cant help being newb..

theirs no perfect system that'll make everyone happy, so instead they should use the simplest system that'll solve the majority of problems. and that simple system is to give host the ability to ban or kick. any system thats used is going to be abused to a certain degree, but giving the host the ability to ban will be the simplest and most straight forward solution.

if i remember correctly the LostPlanet1 community was actually pretty tight, and if a person repeatdly hosted games but never started a game or dropped out of the game early (which would boot everyone else out of game) people wouldnt join their games. if they did this often enough their nick would become known by the community, and no one would join their games or play with them.

 with the system of host banning were able to govern ourselves instead of relying on someone to govern our actions for us. power to the players!

Yeah but we don't know how big the LP 2 Community is going to be. In Lost Planet 1 though, that was really a true fact, most of the time there were about 5 or 6 People that hosted a game all the time that everyone knew well so they would join them more often. Laughing

In other words Lost Planet 2 is most likely going to have triple the amount of players as the first one, already everyone I know that has played the demo LOVES it but they hated the first one.

Anyways I added a Voting system and I Picked:

I think and automatic kicking system would work well for Ranked. Maybe 3 separate team-kill instances results in a kick from the game. That way if someone accidentally kills a teammate once, they won't be punished, but a repeat offender will be.

Yeah i thought this would be good too. Problem is (and i just remembered this) what if you get a d-bag shooting people in matches where friendly fire is off? No death, and thus auto-boot, but still the annoyance and the damage animations.

Allowing players to boot via majority vote IS giving them power, lol. Giving the host alone the ability to ban is not.

I vote A.

Oh, and Also Just so you can get the idea, what your saying is this;

The United States Has to elect a New President(In your case) I, since I thought of the idea of electing a president, am going to vote John Hamilton(Fictional character)as president. No one else may decide only me.

But what I am talking about is;

Let The United States Citizens vote for who will be President.

-There is a 3/5 majority vote for Mike Slytherin(Fictional Character)

Therefor Mike is President because OTHER PEOPLE not just ONE PERSON Voted on who will be president

Otherwise, in your case, I would of had ultimate power in who will be president.

So where is the "Power to the Players" Phrase better with, your idea or everyone else's?
