The only real glitching I noticed was what happens when you get too close to the salamander.  The camera seems like it has a hard time of trying to figure out what to do and sometimes swoops through the salamander or other weird spots.  If the snow pirate you're controlling gets caught under the salamander, it can sometimes take awhile for the camera to back off.

This was also with only one playthrough though, so maybe I was unlikely.  That aside though, it's fantastic!  I'm surprised out how much you fit in the download size too (I was surprised t was only 300 some MB).  Definitely awesome, thanks for the demo Capcom.

P.S. Where can I find that awesome background image of the PTX-40A and Wayne on here?  I'm not on the Lost Planet forums as much as I should be, so I didn't notice it till recently.

Something that intrigues me is how each character model has different weapons on the map. For example, when playing as the 4th snow pirate (the only one that has plasma cannons on the map)  I had picked up a plasma cannon, but to my friend, it looked like i picked up a rocket launcher that turned into a plasma cannon.

I love the GAF-14D (thats what its called right? the one with 2 gunner seats and a driver?)

One very odd thing that i noticed is that if you just turn in circles without moving your feet, your whole torso just twists around, like your spine breaks then re-attatches, lol.

Why do we need T-ENG to get in a VS but the VS doesn't drain your T-ENG? seems wierd.

Overall, I love this demo. Its amazing how one boss fight can never be boring. Ive played it at aleast 30 times, (not counting comic-con)

9. Fixing VS's and healing yourself faster and allies

10. Salamander is huge!

BAD:

1. some bugs/glitches

2. AI is very bad need improvements they die easily and intend to sprint infront of walls

3. 1 of the times i got eaten by the salamender i died and went falling in a huge white area

4. salamender dies in the same spot everytime

5. u can see through the salamender wen near the feet

6. salamender doesnt roar loud enough

7. water affects are better in lost planet 1 wen u go under the water or wen the salamender goes under its not real enough

the good:the ai of the monster is fantastic. it rushes, attacks while your grappling, running away, or elevated higher then it.

the movement of your character, the graphics (water effects, grass etc) all look and feel great.

----

the bad:when you run into the cave (made up of the earth, not the one that looks like its part of a aircraft) within the middle of the map the monster walks over the caves your hiding within and you still get hurt even though nothings hitting you.

the team mate ai didnt seem so great, but i dont plan to play this game with them anyways so honestly doesnt make that big of a difference to me.

You should probably explain right on the loading screen that you need to hold B to run, otherwise the first thing I hear when we spawn is "HAY, HOW DO YOU RUN?!".

Being able to pick which of the 4 pre-made pirates you'd like to use would be nice, but I understand this is only a demo.

I think it'd be nice if you could repair VS's while they're idling.

A couple of time I'd hop out of my VS and try to make a dash for Sir Om-Nom-Nom's mouth and I'd get back into the VS instead, kind of annoying but I doubt it could be fixed without making huge changes to the control scheme.

The framerate is really quite low, especially when you're playing with the full amount of players. Work on bringing the performance up a bit so I won't feel as bad about the lack of a PC demo.  Tongue out

Other than that, fantastic demo, fantastic game, can't wait to get my hands on it next year.

Alright so basically two gripes.

First, the ai seems retarded.  Well, the salamander had good ai but your team mates are half brain dead or something.

Next, the invincible roll.  I know you say "it's one of those things that makes lost planet what it is" but I say it's one of those things that makes lost planet bad.  It's ok in campaign but seriously if this is in multiplayer again it will kill the game.  People will think the lag is worse than it is, people will think it's a glitch, people will think it's a cheap tactic, etc.  A lot of the original players like it (because it helps them dominate new kids even more) but it will seriously make this game MUCH less popular IMO.  I know a lot of people who have said "I would get the 2nd one if it doesn't still have that stupid invincible roll".

Besides that the demo was great.  Can't wait to customize my own character.

Honestly not to sound ungrateful, but I have beaten it twice and I'm already bored. The Demo was way too short.

It may get annoying but it only works if you time it right........................I recently mastered the roll about a week ago Cool

Keep on rollin'
