With the D-Pad you can get Diffirent Camera Angles. Or if u dont find it usefull, a Customisable Control Scheme would be Perfect for you.

I think by camera angle he means First Person where you just see your gun and the screen.

That would be odd. Lost Planet is a Third-Person Shooter it is build around that.. It is not a FPS

Yes but it does have an FPS view...it's kinda hard to use though

There you have it.

Anyway that wasn't an over the shoulder view. Who wants to use that anyway (A)

I actually prefer FPS view, but it doesn't suit Lost Planet's gameplay.

I found it very satisfing but there were a few things I didn't like. The "?" boxes that show up ruin the games atmosphere and pull me out of the experience. I also didn't like how piloting a VS doesn't consume themal energy anymore.

Just another note, I think that you should be able to fix a VS that is in standby mode, so that your steam mate could do it for you without having to get out of your VS.

Here are a few nasty glitches I found.

1.) sometimes with the shotgun, reloading will taking twice the normal amount of time.

2.) when trying to attach a VS weapon to a piloted VS will cause the person to hold up the gun and freeze. They can't die or move, or even open up the PDA to quit the game.

3.) when turning around your character, their back breaks and their upper body turns one direction and their legs turn the other direction.

4.) In some places when using the anchor, it will get stuck on what ever you were aiming at but you can still walk around. you have to walk a short distance before you can use it again

5.) There is a missing animation when seeing other people sprint. (When sprinting you don't go much faster then you do when you run, also when you reach the sprint limit you can start up again instantly so I think you should be able to sprint forever.)

6.) When inside the G-type akrid, the cammera has a hard time figuring out what to do.

As awesome as the demo is, no split-screen support is somewhat dissappointing. Undecided

My internet isn't fast enough to support online play (satellite), so split-screen is all I got.  Could you guys try to fit that in?  It doesn't have to be 4 player split-screen, 2 player would be fine.  That way, I could kill akrids with my buddy or even my brother.

For a game aimed more at multiplayer this time around, this seems almost necessary I feel.

Agreed!  Although I can understand why it may not be possible (one screen alone already has a lot of stuff going on), I'd still like to see them try.  Capcom pulled it off in Resident Evil 5 perfectly I felt, so maybe they can do it again Smile.

Overall i really loved the demo, but like all games, there were a few glitches and stuff that could be improved.

First off, the Friendly AI, it wasnt very good. For example, one time i saw a guy with a rocket launcher look at the cliff, and he shot the cliff and killed himself. Other times they fall in the water. And they just die really quick. Also, when i looked at our friendly AI, the targeting reticule was marked red. Not sure if its suppose to be like that but, i think it could help a lil if it wasnt.

Second, i noticed that fire based weapons would harm player controlled teammates. Just saying that it could be a problem that could lead to team killing. Wouldnt really like that.

One time I was half way across the map and the salamander was on the other side of the map to, and then i just magically appear in his mouth and get eaten. i lold when this happend, but at the same time i was all like WTF?!

But on the good side, and like i said before, the game was awesome. Graphics, gameplay, action, etc it was all awesome. I cant wait to play the actual game when it comes out! Hope it does come out sooner than exected.
