Please remove this glitch SNOW. This would kinda ruin the game. Because i would be fighting the boss and all of my other teammates would be glitching for i don't know what reason. This glitches don't help but people do them anyway. Please remove them.

I dont know about the Jump and Grapple. It would change the Game too much. You could get into this Unlimited Circle:

Jump -> Grapple onto an Object -> Go into the Animation -> The Jump in the Animation -> Grapple onto an Object ..

It can be abused.

I see what you're saying but I don't think it you be a that big of a problem if it was done in the way I described. I'm not saying you should be able to jump of a cliff and then grapple onto something mid air. It would just be used to get a little extra height/distance.

RB and LB are mandatory. Learn to use them. It will improve youre skills.. For example when you go into the Roll Animation a RB and LB will give you a Quickturn. Perfect for duels between 2 or more People.

It isn't mandatory to me as I do fine without it. I have used it in the roll situation that you described but I could cope without it.

With the D-Pad you can get Diffirent Camera Angles. Or if u dont find it usefull, a Customisable Control Scheme would be Perfect for you.

I'm aware that you can use the D pad to change the view but I find this to be awkward and the close in view could be improved as the character takes up too much of the screen. IMO it would be better if pulling LT switched to this close in view like I described, and as soon as you let go you snap back to the normal view. To be clear, i't taking about a OTS camer and not a FPS one.

Oh My God This Is the first time I've hated to see a glitch, I mean it feels like they are trying to ruin a  game that hasn't even been completed yet, now don't get me wrong, I'm glad they found it so people can fix it, but when they just flash it on youtube EVERYONE is going to do that, which will pretty much ruin my awesome demo experience Cry

At first I thought I'd have trouble adjusting to the changes made to the control scheme, but now I find myself holding Y to pick up weapons in LP1.

As others have mentioned, grappling while in the air, as well as throwing grenades while in the air, would be great. So many times I've wanted to hop above a wall and give someone a face full of Dummy grenade but couldn't. =(

I love how the Salamander looks you right in the face when you piss him off. Great AI in that beast. The human AI was hilariously stupid. It's like they were added for comdeic relief. And it worked. Hearing several guys screaming and turning to see their bodies flying through the air never gets old. Once I actually saw a guy on his back crawling backwards after getting knocked down (possibly from a grenade I threw at him). He may have said, "I'm on your side!" at the time too.

I'm glad the crouching animation has been slowed. In the first game people with a machine gun would rapidly crouch and it somehow gave them an unfair advantage.

One time while swimming in the lake I was able to use my grappling hook to reach safe ground. But only once. I haven't been able to do it since. I don't know if it was just a fluke, or if I just haven't been able to replicate the circumstances properly.

Overall, great demo that's got me even more excited for the finished game.

Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to meet you all.

I registered because I've been anticipating this game for some time. Having never played the first game, I thought it best to wait and see the demo prior to committing to a full purchase.

Having played the demo, I thought it necessary to see how silly my caution was - this game is brilliant. I love the concept, the execution (as ever, Capcom), and - above all - the customisation.

But enough about me, let's talk about the demo, shall we?

Positives:

- Sense of scope; it's suitably epic. You feel all of three inches tall when the Salamander bears down on you, and rightly so: compared to its immense physicality, you are essentially a grappling hook-equipped flea.

- Sound design; the machine gun is suitably meaty, and reminiscent of leading sci-fi movies such as Starship Troopers and James Cameron's Aliens. Bravo to your team for that.

- VS upgrades; lugging a massive cannon over to your friend's VS is an incredibly satisfying feeling, and reinforces the sense of teamplay.

There's far more positive than negative, so I'll skip to the constructive criticism:

Negatives:

- Button layout is initially quite confusing, and is not optimised. I feel the default zoom button is somewhat inaccessible from the player's fingers, particularly if they're using the thumb-sticks to both move and shoot. The same applies when having the B button controlling the sprint option was ill-advised: sprinting can be essential to one's survival at times, and I feel its current position leads to more fumbling than is necessary.

- The camera runs into considerable difficulty when the Salamander is about to come down on you. Now, I don't blame the camera per se: I'd be scared if I was trapped under the monster too, but I feel that its getting caught only exacerbates the player's situation, and artificially so.

- Release Date: ahem, when does this game come out? Is it 2009 or 2010? I've heard so many conflicting reports it's driving me  scatty. I'm European, incidentally, and Irish to be specific*, so any preliminary details (however vague) would be greatly appreciated: is it coming out this year, or the next? Please note that this third quibble is more to do with my impatience for your undeniably excellent game, rather than a flaw with the demo itself.

Another question: will this game have system link compatability? This was one of Resident Evil 5's greatest features, as it allowed me and my friend to spend entire evenings together playing in the same room. There's just more atmosphere when you can turn and high-five your buddy after a successful battle.

At any rate, I hope the above proves to be informative. I look forward to posting here in future.

Kind regards,

- Katsuhiro

*Let's all ignore my pretentious Japanese name. If anyone would like to play with me, feel free to add my Gamertag: Katsuhiro 1139.

If a person is riding on the side of a VS and the G-Type does its ground pound move the person always falls off, no matter where the VS is. Even when floating in mid air.

Yeah that happened to me and my friend once as well. It doesn't hurt neither of us but if were riding on the side, we always fall off.
