Wow. Its a massive improvement from the Original and the Co-op is very good. I liked lost planet 1 but it always seemed empty, this game is great, im definetely pre ordering it, the teamwork is great, and it reminds me of monster hunter (Which is a very good thing) With the big guns, and monsters. Overall, its a great game, good work.... AND RELEASE A SECOND DEMO!!!!

Man oh man this demo is as nice as ice, ive been playing for a while now and got to say that the run feature is great but it just feels like your speed walking. Im loving the new roll because even though its still slower it looks and feels alot more believable. Grappling seems to be a tad longer and the new way you can hang is pretty cool if only you could throw grenades when holding on like that would be cool in multiplayer. I was messing around with my favorite weapon "the shotgun" which has a more concentrated spread and the shoot and roll is still there ppl you just got to get used to it, also I noticed that you can jump shoot and then shoot just before landing, nice for them jumping players out their. Great update on the rifle too, i'm not a huge rifle player but in lost planet 2 it sounds better and feels bigger and bader. Sorry to say this but it looks like they made the rifle more halo like. throwing grenades has a nice new look when throwing them but when you throw the gum grenade its the same animation wether your standing or croutching it should be overhand throw while standing. All the VS's I like but it took me a while to learn to dash, now you push croutch button and jump, but when I got in the VS that throws grenades I knew that it was my new bread and butter, think of that VS with a shotgun and a full handle of bombs, even though in multiplayer one rocket or two grenades will take it out. Everything about this game is amazing and now im hearing that it will be released earlier(guessing around dec. after all the other games) cant wait. If someone reads this can you confirm that you will be able to have custom matches offline and explore the multiplayer maps like halo, also can you turn on bots to fight if your not online

Oh Snow I Know this is a bit much to ask but...Do you guys think you can add a Machinema mode?
I was Goofing around in the single player campaign with the new taunts(Which were really entertaining specifically the right Bumper, where you start moving your body in a circle) and it looked like you could show their personas well. Then I tested the Aiming reticule to where you can't see your body and I thought.
"Hey why Not ask Capcom if they could gives us an option to remove the H.U.D. and the aiming reticule, so it looks like your guy is in an action movie while hes fighting a giant salamander, slicing its spikes in intense rain, while 3 soldiers are shooting rockets and Plasma Shots into its legs What i'm saying is that adding a special mode to record movies off of it would REALLY make it cool, Kinda like Halo 3 has a forge mode for recording Machinema and you can share your movies with the Community A Prime example is one of the Trailers where You see Boat sinking underwater and a giant Plane goes by and you see 4 soldiers rise charging into the city.
Of Course if this would cause a delay in launch and make you guys have to work WAAAY too hard, its okay.
Just giving my 2 cents of an opinion
If I wanted to do something like that, I'd probably wait for a PC version, use FRAPS to record, and crop the video afterward to get rid of the HUD elements.
But yeah, what you're saying would work too. Apparently recording gameplay in a similar fashion to Halo 3 is a difficult feature to implement.

I loved the demo i liked how smooth the way the peopl and the vs moved and i liked the new audio from all the weapons except one... the gatling gun. Oh also one question in a post i read the demo was coming out for lp2 and the game will be coming out this fall, does this mean it won't be coming out this winter and be an earlier release?

Two words... Freaking awesome! Just one thing that I don't understand... WHERE IS THE ******* SOUTHPAW CONTROL SCHEME!!! It was forgivable in the first game but to not include it in the sequel thats pure fail. If the other southpaw gamers out there are anything like me they will not buy a shooter solely for the reason of not including southpaw controls. I really really hope Capcom comes around and puts this feature in the game when it launches, but usually a demo is a good indicator the game is basically done and options like this cannot be added. Sorry for raging a bit there. I don't think it requires much effort to include options such as this control scheme and still cannot figure out why developers only cater to a portion of the audience. Sad I'll be missing out on Lost Planet 2 also.... :(

Speaking of the split-screen co-op... even if only 2 player split-screen can be managed, I would really love to see it possible to:
- Connect two machines via system link with 2 players each
- A system with 2 players on it can connect to Xbox Live and have other friends join in
- Allow friends to join in right away during someone's campaign run (toggleable), even if it is in split-screen

It was cool, loved the new exo frame VS, sprint function is nice, melee function seems useable now, and the guns do sound better. I really hope there are still some ice stages in the game though, I loved how everyone was soo bundled up to keep from freezing to death in the first one. Please bring back the female models like Valkyrie. (I miss seeing that booty switch when she runs) A multi player demo would be really really really really nice. Will we be able to customize our character's race? I saw some fat soldier's so I assume you can change the build. I strongly suggest that you don't allow for anything but a machine gun as default in multiplayer rooms, otherwise it just turns into "everybody starts with rocket launchers, sniper rifile, or plasma". (like most american hosted rooms.)
