One of the main things I am wondering on the new Xbox is the disk drive and the chip. Is the drive the quieter slightly faster version, and how does the chip compare. Is it faster, or just cooler...
As a side note, news from Lost Planet has been quiet...anything new coming in the next week or two?

I heard that was delayed till Q3 07, so I believe this April Elite will be of the same components as the current year-old 360 models.

you guys take the survey? it really makes me think Lost Planet 2 is gonna happen. i cant wait! LP is my favorite game hands down, but if LP2 has everything the community has asked for... best. game. ever. :D
Well...I could say Lost Planet is my favorite 360 game. But I can't say it's my favorite game. It's hard to say. I have a feeling that as far as campaigns go, Devil May Cry 4 will top it without much difficulty. Resident Evil 4 was definantly better. I hope Resident Evil 5 just works off of it. I dunno, I've always been more into zombies than giant bugs. But, it's not really fair to compare them.
Lost Planet= Mechs, bugs-o-plenty, and crazy grenades. :)
Devil May Cry= Crazy swordplay/gunplay, crazy bosses, and devil trigger. :cool:
Resident Evil= Zombies, survival horror, and "I can fix a my arm with an herb even though I'm missin flesh, bone, and marrow." :rolleyes:
I love Capcom for those 3 series at least. Oh yeah, Lost Planet isn't a series yet, but I know Capcom. There will be.
Ninja Gaiden 2 needs to be made. I know it's not Capcom (it's Team Ninja) but I'm already disappointed with the PS3 announcement of Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I think I'll pick up Ninja Gaiden Black and play it on my 360 to ease the pain. Speaking of ninjas, who's planning on getting Tenchu Z (ugh, why didn't they leave it as Tenchu Senran)?

Speaking of ninjas, who's planning on getting Tenchu Z (ugh, why didn't they leave it as Tenchu Senran)?
I liked Tenchu and its sequel on the Playstation but ever since the jump to PS2 and on has been disappointing to say the least. Moreso since the series has potential.
Regarding the other game, as good as Ninja Gaiden is, I could never get into its style, that Barbie-doll like Team Ninja aesthetic.

You forgot to thank Capcom for giving us the Street Fighter series... minus the Movie arcade fighter.
not to mention the VS series. (SNK vs Capcom 2 is my fav)
Plus I love all the old school shooters, and side scrollers... all that CPS1 and 2 Lovin !

I think i have to say it is my favorite game... but i have favorite games for each console i've owned (i was a nintendo kid growing up, and I'm still a huge Mario fan :D)
SNES • Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Kart, or Super Mario RPG (but the first ever Capcom game i played was "Gooftroop" for the SNES. I still own it. and it was one of my favorites)
GameBoy Pocket/Color • Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow(yes, i was addicted)
Nintendo 64 • Super Mario 64, and Paper Mario
Gamecube • either Super Smash Bros: Melee or Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but Metroid Prime: Echoes and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles are high up on my list.
PlayStation 2 • The Shadow of The Colossus
Xbox • Ghost Recon 2, Crimson Skies, Fable, Halo(the story mode, not the online)
Xbox 360 • Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Viva Piñata(but i have a feeling Fable 2, Halo 3, Devil May Cry 4, and a few others will be on here when they come out)

naw, the current 360 will only output playback of a SD dvd to 480p. Im assuming thier idea of "upscaling will be to at 720p, 1080i/p..
if so, techically u could get a better picture out of the SD DVDs (as long as your TV/display's video processor is half decent)
you're correct Nub. its not TRUE HD, because of course the material is not HD... but still better :D..
It would make a nice bonus non-the less as even the PS3 does not upconvert.
