Hey Everyone, we're new we just joined today, but we've been... lurking (yes, weknow) for the past month and a half now. At first we thought this ARG was going to be short and end at the launch party, but it seems to really be getting good now, so I'm done sitting on the sidelines... hope you don't mind we're coming in a little late.
also recently alfred has updated his blog, the error page on the thermal regulator site says "you will find him in error"
The hint on the Thermal Regulator site reminded me of when, I think it was Angelo, on unfiction, accidentally found Alfred's YIM sn on the error page, so I went and checked and found this link in the source code at the very bottom...

No complaints on a new face. It is also REALLY nice to see someone working with both UnFiction and the Lost Planet forums. Blackhawk and myself were doing that alone for a while. ;)
I said it at UnFiction and I'll say it here, incredibly nice find. I had even checked the error site twice today but never went ALL the way down. Darn me and my laziness...
If anyone has a YouTube account and wants to/is involved in the ARG, don't forget to subscribe to his videos. It will help in the future. I had an account prior to this, which helps. :D
My thought is, when was it recorded? At the end, there was a mentioning of a chocolate bar in Phil's sneaker. I do not think that Alfred would hide the chocolate in the same place he hid it before. The blog on Nov 5 states that he had hid it in his sneaker then. Was the video recorded before this? Did Capcom forget something? Did Alfred run out of ideas? Can a penguin learn to play the piano? So many questions...

no need to give up source code is the unseen parts of a webpage. its the coding used to create it that the broswer reads to tell it what to do. often times people making args will use it to hide secrets to view it right click on the page (not a picture but a part of the page itself) and click on view souce code
