The latest puzzles are solved over on Unfiction.

There is a party happening in San Francisco (on 1/11/07) and if you want to go you can register for it at: www.neovenusconstruction.com/frontierproject/party/

The username is Genesis
The password is 111

The details for the party are listed on that page once you login.

I'm not one to be a stick in the mud, but I'd bet good money that this ARG is pointing to a pre-release party on the 11th in the San Fran area. Numerous hints have been given to this effect.
There are only so many people that could come to such an event, so why not weed them out by seeing who has the patience to wade through an ARG? Also, how many other rewards would there be to completing the task? Identifying all of the people involved in discovering the answer is too tedious a process to go through, with verification of identity becoming an issue. Much easier to have the prize be something that could lure the gamers to you- a party seems most likely to fit.

With the emphasis on 111, and its proximity to the release date, I can't imagine a lot of other options.

Of course, the real point of the game isn't to reveal the prize but to learn more about the game by participation.

So they announced a party in San Francisco on the page, eh? Oh, I so called it a week in advance.

This isn't the end of the ARG though (but more the end of the beginning :P)... too much information not used and too much left unsolved to stop here.  I knew there was going to be a party involved as well, but that it would only be a piece of the pie.

I don't know if there will be anything new for a little while, being that Christmas is afoot.

Christian Svensson

Any typos you see are probably my iPad's fault (probably).

I would love to go, but the 2000 miles away thing makes it difficult.  I move into the dorms Jan 12, so unless someone buys me the plane tickets (;) wink wink :)), I will be sitting it out.  So far, options are extremely limited on people that can go.

Hey, you could always change plans and have the party in Minnesota!  You could say it is a theme party cause of all the snow and bitter cold.:D

alas ive tried my best but, its just so incredibly hard to get people to go.  Of all the cities in the world only one is hosting it, and on top of that its on a weekday.  so far the only person i had willing to go has really stopped following the game.

on another note a worty reward for finishing this game would be a sort of behind the scenes on the mystery.    give a little peek behind the creation of this Alternate Reality Game.  It would be rather cheap to accomplish, and a LOT more convienient

Argodaemon said a while ago that he couldn't go in the "More Detail" page of the "Tourbit Aerospace Cocktail Mixer" part of the TourBit site. In case you still can't, here's what it said anyway:

"Press Release

NEO VENUS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND TOURBIT AERONAUTICS ANNOUNCE LAUNCH PARTY

SAN FRANCISCO , Calif. -- Dec. 20, 2006 -- NEVEC , a leading worldwide technology corporation, today announced along with partner Tourbit Aeronautics, plans to host a celebration. This event, being held in San Francisco on January 11, 2007, from 8:00pm to 12:00am, will commemorate the upcoming launch of the first human crew to set foot on E.D.N. The launch event itself is currently scheduled for the end of January 2007.

Skyler R. Shane, founder and president of Tourbit Aeronautics, had this to say, "We are proud to announce that we are heading into the final stages in preparation for our joint launch to E.D.N. The gears are in motion and we cannot be stopped! To celebrate this momentous event, we are holding industry meetings in San Francisco the week of January 8th - 11th, culminating in a celebration with the crew and key players in this grand process. Just imagine, soon humanity will be able to move onto New Worlds. Our expansion into the cosmos begins with this project, the Frontier Project. Carl Sagan envisioned humanity's future some 35 years ago and we are finally making it a reality. We will fly ourselves beyond the reach of this solar system and, soon, we will grow our influence in ways never before possible."

Neo Venus Construction Marketing Representative Marie Lopez added, "Neo Venus Construction has developed key technologies that make all of this possible, including expanded theories in terraforming and groundbreaking expansions in medical science, allowing for sustainable stasis in long term space flight. We have broken new ground here on Earth and soon we will be breaking new ground on E.D.N. Along with the far reaching technologies of Tourbit, Neo Venus will achieve mans greatest dream: colonization of new worlds."

NEVEC is a leading worldwide corporation engaged in the design, manufacture, integration, and operation of products and services ranging from space exploration, spacecraft, and launch vehicles to terraforming, colonization, defense, health and medicine, and energy management. Headquartered in San Francisco , California , the company maintains operations in the U.S. , United Kingdom , Germany , Tokyo and Hong Kong .  More information about NEVEC and its products can be found on the company's web site at www. neovenusconstruction .com "

Apparently the party had been hinted in this section of the website all along. Of course, it didn't have the password and username for the login so all that research was still necessary. - January / 11 / 07 - 01/11/07

Of course this isn't the end, like stated by Alfred. This doesn't explain all that cat thing with phil and stuff.

Kind of sucks that I don't live in San Francisco.

Anyway, and just for kicks, this can also be read if you go to www.neovenusconstruction.com and click "PRESS RELEASE" on the bottom, next to Job Oppurtunities. Which is kind of a mistake, since this part: "More information about NEVEC and its products can be found on the company's web site at www. neovenusconstruction .com " shouldn't be in NeVeC's own website.. but whatever. =P

Another pointless extra: NEVE stands for Snow in portuguese.

I didn't know that link went active now.:D   Anyways, we have seen that Press Release site before, but we got there through different methods.  It is hard to post everything found on this forum considering I work with UnFiction and post the major findings here.  If you REALLY want to get involved with the ARG, I would recommend heading over there.

Back on topic, the braille is different on the Press Release page and it is translated into a quote from the bible; Genesis 1:11 to be exact.

Also, the song on Alfreds latest blog, Disturbed-Land of Confusion, is related to a song of the same name by the band Genesis.

It was from this (and Alfred's incite) that we were able to find the username/password for Alfred's "Party Crash" Site.

There is a post in the General Discussion forum blackhawk127 wrote containing the story so far and the fourth post has the details. Click here to jump there.

Yeah, I've read all the posts in this Topic and I've read everything in that roundup topic blackhawk made.

I haven't been to UnFiction because this site looks much cleaner and "Lost Planet-ish" =P

So yeah, I'm up to date, I think. Will try to check if there's any new stuff over at UnFiction more often tough. Besides, I followed all your steps and then made them myself to check, both for errors and to see if I could have got it myself. Bow down to the whole Braille thing tough, but I might have got it since I saw a blind people related movie the day before yesterday. (I hope)

I haven't added Alan to my contacts list because I don't have Yahoo, since I use MSN.

Besides, it's easier if all the messages go to the same people that know each other and can put them all together for everybody else to solve. I will go to UnFiction right now tough, probably, because that whole: Phil and the Janitor and stuff is kind of blurry around here... I'm not sure if I got it. Time for check =P
