About the screenshots, isn't the printscreen and paste thing working in Vista?:
- Press Printscreen button on the keyboard in game.
- Open paint and paste (CTRL V) and save the picture that was captured
I would like to have Vista myself, but present driver support and enthusiast motherboards, that don't support more than 4 * 2 GB is keeping me away.

Ok for example what are your 3dmar06 Cpu scores ?
I personally get ~4050 pts in the CPU score, and with overclock ~5100 pts. If you're into 3DMark06, I gained ~3000 pts in the final score (~14100 -> ~17100) only from overclocking the CPU (2660mhz -> 3500mhz).

CPU Score 3151 Marks in 3DM06 on Vista 32Bit with current settings ( in my sig ).

My 3DM06 CPU score is 1966 ScoreI did manage to make a little video of the Lost Planet demo but its in windows mode,my performance isnt as good in windows mode but I will see if I can upload it somewhere and link it to you guys.

My advice, don't waste your cash for the extra 1 or 200 points they will net you if you are very lucky ;)

  I made some screenshots,also in windows mode,its when I was playing the game and not the performance test but the FPS meter show the performance in the left upper corner. MrMudd take a look at this before you decide to buy an FX, SupCom CPU test

Yeah I agree.
I think the most sensible upgrade would be to wait for the desktop Barcelona / Phenom.
But if one needs CPU power now, then a simple upgrade to 6000+ is okay, but the FX7? series are too expensive in terms of money (expensive motherboard + new PSU most likely) and power consumption.

Just loaded and ran on my system with these results in 1280x768 Snow: 64, Cave: 45
btw my CPU was being dragged down a bit, it was rebuilding my RAID5 in the background (stupid Vanguard crashes trigger it). I'll try again late when the array is rebuilt and I have full attention of the CPU. :D
Following RAID rebuild, I did perf benchmarks (1920x1200x32) --> Snow: 29, Cave: 44 (strange reversal)

i am thinking ram is slowing most people down. I am seeing people with comparable or better machines than i have. At 1280X1024 91 snow 58 cave all full graphics.
Only diff i can see is i have 4 gb ram compared to 2 gb. Also using 240 pin ballistix.
Maybe upgrade your ram level you will get better fps. Is only diff im seeing with similar high end sys
