This is the game that I play the most. I returned my GoW, pre-ordered Lost Planet, and bout the wireless headset. After playing the Mp demo and getting used to it, I couldn't stand playing Gow Mp anymore. The controller layout type B, is my favorite(thx to a post by brian on the xbox forums). Giving me the option to reload my left or right gun on my vs at different times. the only thing that irritated me was, when i was in a VS and the health was 3/4's full, my vs would start walking terribly slow and jumping terribly slow. Is that my internet connection or is that a certain part on my vs destroyed? I've been killed twice by that happening. just wanted to kno that.

I noticed the controller layout B as well, but it's nowhere described what the layout actually is, so I never tried it. After reading that post, it looks like I'd like that better as well. I'm going to give it a shot next time. I have a problem with Zoom being on the directional pad because it's a piece of crap. I HATE the d-pad on the X360...it's so flimsy and non-usable.

-- I was speaking about someone using a VS mech or super VS mech gun. Both require large amounts of T-Energy. I see your point but it won't matter to many team killers as they can keep using the most common weapons (grenades, shotgun, rifle and... rocket launchers) :/ Also, a betrayal could be a mistake. I guess a betrayal should be penalized only if there wasn't any enemy in the vicinity. Ahah this is becoming quite complex...
About the roll, has it be studied to be used as a "melee attack" to slightly stun an opponent by rolling on him?
Last question, how do you taunt? I've seen someone doing it.

Yup, BadBoodah77 on the Xbox forums is me.
Pattern B maps reload to the right bumper, zoom to the left bumper, and quick turn to some combination of R3 presses or something.
I also set my view to Zoomed.
And someone on the XBox forum mentioned "Fixed" aiming. I checked that out. You have to cycle through the Accelerate #s to Fixed, but it fixes your reticule at the center of the screen. I think I like it better.
ritalman,
What kind of taunting? Was the person t-bagging? If so, that's just clicking the left t-stick.

No it was a special animation, the guy was raising his gun in the air, like you'd do IRL when you conquered a position for example (not sure it's clear), and then he was showing me his butt and was giving himself slaps on the butt (like "come and get me"). That was quite surprising.

Wow, I've never seen that. I'll have to look for it.

Look like it happened to this guy to from gamefaqs :
Has anyone figured out how to taunt yet? D4RKF4LZ Posted 11/26/2006 10:36:29 PM message detail I played a match tonight where this Japanese player would stand near the spot where I died and go into a taunt pose. He would raise his rifle triumphantly in the air and then go on his merry bad-*** way.

how about a way to tell who is talking during a match? maybe just a list of names of team members that appear when you hit back or start that have an icon appear beside the name when people are talking.

1. I definately agree with the friend or foe differentiation needing changing.
2. Again, the server browser needs to be improved. It just doesn't make sense that when you find out one game has been canceled that the browser kicks you back to the lobby just so you can "search" for all of the same games you just saw again.
3. For those of us without HDTVs, (yes...we Do exist) don't pull another Dead Rising. Make the small text readable on a standard definition TV.
4. Melee attacks should either do way more damage, or do an instant knockdown effect. They are severely unbalanced right now; if one can close the distance to get a melee attack on someone, they should be getting a reward for this feat.
5. Possibly add the ability to grapple when in mid jump. I've wanted to do this and mashed the "X" button madly in some situations where I narrowly missed a jump.
6. Default sensitivity needs to be turned up.
My 2 cents.

Wow, I've never seen that. I'll have to look for it. Could you try this : "If some of you guys wanna know how to taunt just hold start and press one of the D-pad directions"?
My 360 is away until LP's release.
