Not sure but I do remember reading both from an article and from posts here about the PS3 Version outselling the 360 version.
Also even more marketing would be for ps3 again, In a pie chart [I can provide a link to this if you want] you can see that ps3 sales [units] are almost triple than 360's in japan. That is a big market that shouldnt be ignored.

i played it on 360 and ill tell you one thing i love lp but i refuse to play it again if it means i have to play on that lagbox Really, you are in pure denial if you think that LP on the PS3 has no lag. I am currently playing LP on the PS3 and the 360 and they are about the same when it comes to lag. Which really isn't that much to begin with (for me anyways.)

I admit this could be more fanboism than fact, but I do believe that the PS3 has greater stability and power to handle online games better than 360. Its simply better hardware. [Sony is a hardware manufactuer, while Microsoft is a software manufacturer. Primarily.]

Just that I would look for the largest user base if I was to build from the ground up not intending a multi-platform. This is exactly what I think happened. Believe it or not I wanted it to be on PS3 from the start, but its too late for that. Also I want Colonies to be on PS3 at the same time but I'm not letting it stop me from playing it on PC that is.
Also I don't agree with Live fees, but this is another subject.

Like Third Eye Blind here :p , I'm also rather enervated by this constant fanboy bickering, especially when they start accusing others with the fanboy card. PS3 has Lost Planet right now and is that all they're going to get in the foreseeable future? YES. How did Capcom know those who played the 360 version were going to waste their money to buy a second copy of the game on a brand new system? Did it draw in new players on the PS3? YES.
And roofsniper, at least be consistent. If you'd like, I could pull up some quotes in which you vehemently defended the PS3 port since now, every indignant word from you disparages that very port. DEAL WITH IT. Wait it out, or like Nubbin said, BEG FOR IT which does not equate to WHINE ABOUT IT. Third Eye's right about the poll, that's the one good idea that's come out of this thread.
I know the 360 has problems and I can sympathize with your reluctance to get it again. I know mine is a just a ticking time bomb waiting to burn out. So why not just be civil and cool-headed about it and STOP WHINING. I'll assume you're an adult. Act like one.
And ShadowKoneko, of course the PS3 version would be outselling the 360 version this year............lifetime units moved, that's a different story. And I've mentioned this before in the thread, but it was LP developers themselves who stated that now is no longer the time to focus primarily on the Japanese market and you want to disagree with that? A US(?) gamer disagreeing with Japanese developers on directing their focus on the Japanese gamer:confused:   Sorry, now you're just pulling excuses to deprecate the 360 out of a magic hat; and as a US gamer, I'd have to heartily dissent with your advice as I rather enjoy the fact that most Japanese developers can't afford to ignore the western market anymore. I like my worldwide simultaneous launches and this only came about because companies like Capcom have realized that their money can be made elsewhere. Pull some US sales figures out for me, then we can have a better discussion.

Ok I've held my tongue, but now I must say you are just a crying, annoying, idiot. Who said you(as in the PS3 owners) shouldn't get Colonies:confused:
Have you ever herd of boycotting(this is not how its done)? Crying like that is not going to accomplish anything but getting your mommy to run with a bottle to your side to pasify you. If you want results start a poll and ask people to vote for it to be on PS3, instead of posting this crap 10 times a day in every thread about Colonies. Ok we get it you don't like the 360, fine don't support it, simple as that. ;)
Yes I do agree that 360 owners(as lame as most of them are) do deserve it. 360 owners made Capcom enough money to make them want to continue the franchise in the first place. Really you can't blame Capcom for seeking the largest user base to test an awesome new game out on. I wish that they had enough money to make it multi-platinum from the start(I would have bought a PS3 and not a 360) but that would have been a risk. Not everyone likes LP and not everyone would choose their system on one game. Really in the end I would have done the same and so would you, Its strictly business.;) lmao i was laughing maybe you need to be around people more to understand emotions. seems like you have been playing too much lp. and you act like im the only one arguing i want colonies and i think ps3 players earned it just as much as 360 players. capcom gave away tons of ps3 exclusives so we should at least get to have colonies too. i even remember reading somewhere that colonies was coming out exclusively for ps3 at one point. and the ps3 version was a bigger hit than the 360 version so idk how that makes any sense to you. its most likely because you have been playing lp too much and can't think. (typical 360 fan) really i don't understand why im acting like a baby here. seems like you are the one acting like a baby.
But... the ps3 Lost Planet outsold the 360 version.. ~confused~ im confused as well. hes just confusing people with his nonsense.

Which really isn't that much to begin with (for me anyways.) it wasn't just lp that lagged it was other games as well. really the point is that i could only play 2 player games on the 360 and couldn't even host. now i can play in 16 player games and host on the ps3 so theres a huge difference. yes there may be a little lag here and there but at least i can play. and i never said the ps3 version had no lag i just said the 360 one had a massive amount of lag.
