Hi people, Most of you probably already know this but I thought I would share this in order to get it out in the open for everyone.
This is the fastest way that I have found to level and get all the costumes, weapons, emotes, and abilities.
Let us start with the levels.
Using the following method you can easily level a character from 1-99 in a day.
First thing is first you want to unlock the Superstar Ability (unlocked Via Slot Machine)
Use this ability and join mission 5-2 any difficulty.
The key to success on this is getting into the cannon and unless you are playing with friends and you all agree who gets the cannon this can be tricky. Luckily, I have found the exact time to join a match that is standing by in order to beat everyone else into the cannon.
You must be the third person in the room!!!!! This means you join when you see the room in standing by status with 2 people.
After you have joined the room as player 3. Fight as best you can during the first part in order to help the battle go faster. When you see the red bar start to get low (Shortly after the enemy starts boarding the ship) jump down to the charging post below. Charge to around 7000.
When the next part of the battle begins you will be on the left side in front of the cannon.
Use the Sprint button O-PS3 B-Xbox to sprint to the seat and get in. Defeat the Akrid and your done.
What kind of points will you get for this?
Easy – 35,000 to 38,000
Normal – 43,000 to 47,000
Hard – 50,000 to 56,000
Extreme – 60,000 to 65,000
(Note: these results are only if playing online with 1 or more other human players)
Solo results are quite a bit lower but good in a pinch.
Example: On easy solo, you will get around 17,000.
Getting all the slot machine items!
Mission 5-3 Activate all data post.
At the end when it say’s GET BACK TO THE SHIP! Don’t. Stay there. It will drop boxes over and over it will blow up but you have time to re-spawn at the end at one of the data post you activated earlier on your ship.
You will get around 9,000 – 15,000 slot machine credits each run.
(Note: watch you battle gauge and make sure you have enough for you and everyone else farming box’s to die otherwise you will lose the mission)
I there is not enough battle gauge left you can still farm but when you see 20 to 25 seconds left run back to the ship.
Well I tried this and I have to say IT WORKS!
I am now level 99 on Fem's and my slot machine is not working anymore!!!!
For some reason, I did worse on that then I do with 1-3 (Thats how I got my femme to 99 initially), and I extremed it. Did I screw up somewhere?

Basically you just need to be in the cannon, and Shoot the legs as much as you can then at the end shoot the mouth. you should never be under 30k unless your playing it solo.
Alright, so I did do something wrong, I soloed it. Aw well, well it got me to 85-87 so far.

Having superstar on and playing a campaign mission over and over again may sound simple, but you gotta be on the cannon and have support. I've fight people to get to the cannon just to get career points. When I'm not on the cannon I just fill out objectives and get points that way.
Instead of playingn missions over and over again, just playing a whole campaign run should suffice and offer minimal problems.
Having superstar on and playing a campaign mission over and over again may sound simple, but you gotta be on the cannon and have support. I've fight people to get to the cannon just to get career points. When I'm not on the cannon I just fill out objectives and get points that way.
Instead of playingn missions over and over again, just playing a whole campaign run should suffice and offer minimal problems.
Actually its quite simple if you read the entire post =)

This fight takes areound 15min if that. Including time to find a match standing by with 2 20min tops. 50k for 20min can not be matched.

I did read your post and its not that different to whats been put up before, get to the cannon, get alot of points.
If you play through the campaign you will infact get alot more points then using this method alone. I know it takes time but its variety and productive. Haven't finished easy or hard difficulty, but still want to get points? Have superstar and play the campaign, it takes less then a day to beat, I can't gurantee that you'll get to lvl 99 but hey you wont get bored doing the same thing.
Also, in 5-3 you get alot points in under 8 minutes, while you may get 50K for 20minutes on 5-2, you can get 60K (or a close 50K) plus on 5-3 for 16minutes, a max of 30K each since 5-3 takes about 8 minutes.
It all maninly depends on your teammates, you never know when your gathering T-Eng is someone jumping on the other cannon.
I did 5-2 and I was the 3rd player and automatically for taking down the legs you get 20,000 pts - Normal, after some calculations I got a max of 45K, missing the extra 5k from becuase of low T-Eng was unable to finish the spider off.

#1 Max 45k was on either hard or normal.
#2 you're wrong, playing threw the campaign is time consuming. I have played threw every difficulty many times...
You will never get the amount of point in the same amount of time. the points aren't even close.
Also Extreme takes the same amount of time as any play threw. The points are greater but you will still get more points on 5-2 using the method Ive posted than almost the entire play threw of the game.
If you dont want to use it dont=) but atleast have good math and some hands on reasearch befour you complain.. (like add the points and time when you do a whole game play threw) =) Good luck !
