The only complaint I have is that "Counter Grab" isn't Ranked anymore and that "Akrid Hunter" is gone.
I dont care about "Fugitive". Mmm I miss:
"Counter Grab" on "Trial Point".
"Akrid Hunter" on "Random Map".
Playing matches with 16 People
I want Ranked Matches with these Gametypes:
"Elimination" -> Vote for -> "Elimination" / "Egg Bandit Indv."
"Team Elimination" -> Vote for -> "Team Elimination" / "Team Egg Bandit" / "VS Annihilator"
"Post Grab" -> Vote for -> "Post Grab" / "Counter Grab"

Who cares if ranked matches are the way they are, I remember when just having fun with your friends online was where it was at. There are player matches for everyone to enjoy. Let Capcom figure out what they want to do and if you want to play with friends in a ranked match go with a faction.

They penalized players for leaving. I think I read the system works like this:
Once your DNF goes over 30%, you do not gain any points until your DNF% goes below 30%.
States aren't recorded if you dashboard/XMB, as with most P2P games. That of course includes your DNF stat too, I've tested this across 2 games. Not because I was intending to cheat or anything, one time I wanted to go play co-op and the other time I was turning my PS3 off. Neither of these games were recorded, and my DNF has not changed.

I love the way they have it. The voting system makes it so someone who just wants to whore rockets or rifles can't set it up so that they always start with this weapon. Please try and adapt to things instead of just complaining about them. In the long run you may come around.
I know this is awesome, no more gay rifle pirate fortress. Also you don't have to wait for the host to start the match. I think it's awesome that you can level up in ranked matches!!!
Well, I knew all those damn reviews weren't wrong especially Joystiq. Can't wait until Alan Wake comes out.

I personally love the new Quick Match for ranked... I can get into a match within seconds, which is waaaaaaay better than wait for a room to fill. You can vote for minor changes if you like and research altogether if you dont like what is coming up. And if you just REALLY have to play Rockets on Kraftwerks, you can always just host it. Still wish there was a party system though.

I like the way ranked is set up now because you dont have to wait for a host to start the game. It auto starts now. No more waiting for a room to fill up and hoping the host is still awake like LP1. Theres tons of player matches up with all kinds of different options - plus you can create your own room there so that aspect is very much like LP1. Im almost certain you still get career points for player matches, all you get from ranked is the text words of your online rank. Every mode affects your numerical level.

Look at all the new people raging because they can't get their rifle/rocket whore on.
God you're obnoxious. Just because you don't like those types of matches doesn't mean people shouldn't be allowed to play them. I like variety. I play everything. But now everything is only Standard, handguns, and rifles. Yeah, go play player matches blah blah blah. Whatever. But why the hell is it so different from ranked? Ranked is like a totally different game. It makes no sense. When they were talking up how cool all the customization is for matches and all the neat things you can change to your liking they were sure keen to leave out the part about it only being for player matches. In the words of the Angry Videogame Nerd "What were they thinking?!" Oh, and I've never been able to play a faction match. It gets to 8 people, all Rounders, then it says the host has canceled the match. I don't know why people are even described as "hosts". They don't control anything.

The only obnoxious ones here are people who do matches where everyone starts with launchers or snipers. Yesterday I got into a ranked match where everyone started with snipers and it was absolutely terrible. It was impossible to grab any posts because both teams just wanted to hide back at their home base and, take a guess... ... Snipe. I think there shouldn't even be an option to change your starting weapon in ranked. When it's just launchers/snipers it's not even a real match, just a brainless skirmish.
Done with LP2 forums. Too many annoying people, too many annoying topics, so I won't be hanging around anymore.
To the intelligent and courteous members; it's been fun, and I hope to see you in LP2 sometime! n_n
