Snow, you better be listening
Always. But the weather does change in the campaign depending on what mission you're playing. Hell, in the demo on PSN and XBL you should notice that it starts to rain, by first sprinkling, then going to a full on down pour. Then soon after it lets up revealing a bit of light. And honestly, I'm not sure why the dynamic changes are being discussed so much. For anyone who played Lost Planet 1 there where weather changes everywhere: in the campaign, in the multiplayer maps... This is nothing new, and as you've all seen our philosophy with LP2 is to add to the game, not take from it.

This is why Lost Planet can only get better.

Did it? I didn't even notice, I know it rains but I was more concered on taking down the massive monster rather than dazzle at the weather.

And we are simply discussing ways to add to the weather changes that already exist.

Is there a possibility for custom VS paint jobs? For instance, in the customization screen you select a custom paint job for each VS, much like selecting the "pattern" for your character in LP1? It would work so that the VS is in the default fixture when unoccupied, but takes on the selected paint of the driver if occupied. A big theme in LP2 (besides "EPIC" and "MASSIVE") seems to be "uniqueness" - create a profile unique to you with your selected weapons, clothing, emotes, nicknames, etc. So why not add onto that?

That's something I've always thought would be a great idea. I played a demo of Armored Core on the PS2 and I liked how you could change every bit of your mech, from the paint job to the way it moved. Never got into the series, though. But I'd love to see this in a future Lost Planet game. I think it's a little too late in the development process to add that in if it isn't already being worked on though. Custom Vital Suits are the way of the future! But, I'd still like to keep the standard Vital Suits around. Hardballers rock! =D

I would like to first off apologize if this question has been asked but its rough wading through 45 pages of posts. Are the weapons customizable past just throwing skins on them?

You can choose which weapons you want to use (within catagories), but the weapons themselves are not customizable.

Yeah, I guess you're right. But maybe they could add it as a patch/DLC, or would that not be possible. Not exactly sure how difficult that would be, so I'll just assume extremely which'll mean no. But yeah, for a "future Lost Planet" game for sure (come on, it's Capcom. They never stop at 2). And yeah, Hardballers rock, but I'm really liking the Bleed right now. Looks and feels really awesome.
