I enjoyed playing through the stages in the demo but I have to say I will stick with the Xbox version. Once again the graghics don't look as sharp or bright as the 360. Its almost the same as the difference between the first lp on each console (well not quite that bad).
BTW I don't favor any console.
Oh, one more thing. I seemed to self-detonate alot, esp. throwing dummies. sometimes they would just explode and kill me immediately after tossing.
thats probably do to a teammate going trigger happy, especially if they have the flame thrower. I do suspect that akrid can accidently detonate grenades by slashing them in mid air.

never played lost planet 1 but LP2 demo was pretty awesome. I've never played a demo so many times. Finally beat the salamander boss, love the different kinds of weapons.

the explosives didnt seem toned down to me, and i dont remember peoples characters rag-dolling (being flung in the air like that) when caught in a explosion. i am slightly disappointed that i'm not seeing enviornmental effects (rain, dust storms, whiteouts, day/night cycles) as i thought this was a fantastic feature in the 1st game.
You know, it was raining.... And the explosions weren't toned down at all. Have you seen the Incendiary Grenade's or the Buster Grenade's explosions? All in all, I just think you're a being a little too critical a little too early.

i don't want to start a fanwar the only thing is I only own a 360, I played the ps3 demo and it is completely better than ours. I still understand the fact that we got the demo earlier, but I think everbody here (xbox 360) wouldn't have cared waiting more for a way better demo.

Damn! Those 2-legged spikey-headed Akrid are a pain in the ass! Especially when there are 3 or so.

Shotguns man, shotguns. Or Revolvers. But NOT Flamethrowers.

I did find the shotgun to be extremely effective in general. The rocket launcher* is obviously helpful as well. The hand cannon glitches on them, but I figure the plasma cannon will pwn as usual. Once I get a chance to use it. Once I decapitated one of the "hoppers" (What I call them) with a single shotgun blast. It was epic. *Cookie for you if you know where the heavy weapon spawn is. Long range is in the same spot.

Yea... I didn't see as many brawlers as usual. Normally there are 3 or 4 scattered around. I don't think I saw any, actually.

The first mech was missing (the one at top of the hill that doesn't hover). I did see someone in a brawler but not sure where they found it. either way I'm still gonna enjoy playing it a few more times.
