Ok, tonight i decided to hop on and play the xbox version of the demo again. I gotta say, I like the color grading better on the xbox. It also seems like it's a truely earlier build as there are more useable VS's and Gordiant doesn't seem nearly as evil or aggressive. On the ps3(later version) it seems like you took out a lot of the ice particles in the rain. I think it works much better with them. The xbox overal looks more brown and seems to be lighter. In the final build, you can keep the blueish feel of the ps3, but take out how the rain seems to make EVERYTHING glisten. Also, make it lighter like the earlier xbox version. I really hope the final build looks identical. I almost wanna say that the xbox looks like it runs the frames smoother, but i'm not sure if it looks that way due to the slight wide screen effect or not. Either way, the wide screen looks nice, you should keep that in as well. Remember CAP, crappy ports are a thing of the past this gen, (unless you're sega...you guys don't wanna be likened to sega do you?) one version looking worse or playing worse than the other will only make you guys look bad. I especially want them identical because i'm intending on getting the ps3 version so i don't have to pay some stupid yearly fee just to play a game online that i just paid 60+ dollars for. (Where's the special edition?!)
EDIT: darkness was just due to my tv setting.
EDIT2: ok after changing my ratio, i see now that the texture resolutions are identical and the "widescreen effect" was absent on the ps3 because my ratio was on a crappy setting.
Differences:
Old: More hale, gordiant is easier, akrid inside gordiant don't explode when you shoot through their shells, you can stay inside gordiant practically forever. More useable VS's, There's a drum tank of T-ENG.
New: Less hale, gordiant is much meaner, akrid inside gordiant explode if you don't shoot them when they're open, You cannot stay inside gordiant too long or you'll be swarmed to death or flushed out, VS's that were useable in old version are destroyed, no drum tank of T-ENG.
